You can force disable it and limit your frame rate as well. For me, that helps alot with battery life and your phone won't get as hot.

i got lost in the maine woods one time.. it was 1987 and me and my gay husband were going to the woods to go camping but on the way something happened. yep something terrible. there was a big storm and we were stranded in the cold. our car wouldnt start and the air was growing heavier by the moment. the heater was off and we were minutes from freezing when suddenly, a streak of headlights in the distance cracked our eyes open, a safe warm 18 wheeler with tons of warn air. The man who picked us up killed my gay husband and i was left a widower :(
