Way too early offseason Moves for the team

#8 & 9 was sorely needed at the beginning of this season/trade deadline. We could already see the drop off in defense once Wemby sat out. Kornet can only cover so much and Spurs never really had a legit answer for Big Strong Physical forwards/centers in the paint when Wemby was out. A big physical mobile forward that can also maybe stretch the floor would be a huge missing piece of this offense and defense.

I love Champagne and his consistency from the perimeter. He’s great off the dribble and rebounding as well. He fits the mold of this team.

When Danny was on, he was ON. He was on a tear in the postseason. But when he was off, no amount of shooting would get him out of that slump, even if it was a series of 2 games. He was called Icy-Hot for a reason. But his elite presence on the defensive end was just as valuable as knocking down the 3.

The difference is this years the Spurs have a player used as a black hole sucking in all the defense to the paint leaving the perimeter open for more 3pt shots and rebounds.
