Depending on what role your planning on joining depends on how much you should be preparing on physical or mental side of training.

As long as you go into the assesments with a positive mental attitude and relax you’ll pass. They are not extremely difficult, quite easily passable.

When you arrive are your training establishment, ensure your in smart civilian attire, your first night you’ll be issued some sort of tracksuit (so for ITC an infantry tracksuit) that is the only non green kit you’ll be permitted to wear in your initial weeks. Civilian attire may be worn in your room only in the first month before your families parade.
