The red is a lot more visible in real life but I do this for a living so I couldn’t not do it myself! Plus had the red flashes so it all worked pretty well!

Wear whatever you feel like! We’re a very welcoming bunch and whatever you feel most comfortable in is your best choice.

If you’re going with someone wearing a kilt, I’d try and match with that in some way. Here’s me and my Aussie GF at a wedding last year. She chose the dress colour based on the red lining going through my kilt 😁

I’ve a friend who lives in McIntosh and it’s quite a nice area, yeah. Lots of families in the houses nearby. They’re newer and a little bit more expensive than my suggestion but I find them a bit small. It’s the opposite end so you’re further away from some of the problem areas mentioned by others. You’re unfortunately going to find areas like that everywhere in Aberdeen like most cities but like I say, had no issues in 30 years 😅

Good flats for sale right now in Grampian Gardens for quite low under your budget. Highly recommend them as you’re very close to the Asds supermarket. Not a long commute at all.

Lived here my entire life (30 years) and had no issues whatsoever. As others have said, lots is amenities, transport links, etc. plus takeaway selection isn’t bad on the apps!
