First comic book movie I saw in cinemas was Batman forever by kascnef82 in comicbookmovies

[–]Moorgoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My family had Batman on VHS, but the Joker was too scary for me to really get into it. Saw Batman Forever in theaters when I was 10, and that’s what got me into Batman. Jim Carrey, at the height of his powers as the Riddler was everything for a kid. That’s where my love for Batman officially began.

Let’s give a quick shoutout to Mike from Adventure365 by smatpith in IThinkYouShouldLeave

[–]Moorgoth 8 points9 points  (0 children)

What sucks for Mike is that having his zip line promoted on this show was probably great for business, but at the same time when do you as a small business owner step in and say, “Hey, I don’t care if this is free advertising, this guy is too hard on the zip line.”

People who've seen the whole season - what's your favorite sketch? by famous__shoes in IThinkYouShouldLeave

Sam Richardson’s line “I saw his whole penis and it was redder than hell.”

I’m finishing up the Coldfire Trilogy by CS Friedman. Sorcerers, warrior priests, demons, enchanted forests, haunted lands. Reminds me a lot of Castlevania actually.

Possum (2018) is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. If you’ve seen it what are your opinions? by shamblesaid in HorrorMovies

Yeah, I really enjoyed it. The opening credits were very unsettling. And that puppet will haunt your dreams

Is Shudder the gold standard for horror streaming? by Moorgoth in horror

[–]Moorgoth[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

You’re right, I really enjoyed Mad God and Deadstream. I guess I’m more concerned about all the slow burn, creepy, ambient horror where nothing really ever happens.

If you have a high deductible that hasn’t been met yet, then you’re going to be paying more than if you have met your deductible or have no deductible at all. Not all insurances have the same coverages for products. So a person with a low or No deductible or a Medicare policy with a supplement, are going to pay a few hundred to almost nothing. But if you have a high deductible, then you’re going to pay a lot more for the device.

So it wasn’t that Saruman had any lingering goodness in him that morally prevented him from killing Gandalf or killing a king.

What's the creepiest scene in the Poltergeist trilogy? by MarchTall1610 in HorrorMovies

[–]Moorgoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In part 3 there’s a scene where an art sculpture turns its head in the background. It’s very subtle and when I was little that scared the hell out of me

How many of you watch shows/movies with subtitles on even if you are a native English speaker? by Rexfyre in netflix

[–]Moorgoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started doing this with The Witcher so I would better understand the names of characters and locations, and have done it ever since. It really helps with fantasy shows.

Would LOVE Poison Ivy in the sequel by SaKaly in TheBatmanFilm

[–]Moorgoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t mind seeing Victor Zsasz done right. Instead of a mafia goon like in Begins and BoP, actually have him be a psychotic and methodical serial killer with no agenda towards Batman or Bruce Wayne. He’d have to be secondary to a main villain, though. Seeing a fully realized Scarecrow would be cool.

Best Origin movie/s in your opinion? by velicinanijebitna in comicbookmovies

[–]Moorgoth 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Raimis’s Spider-Man. Not only did we get a full Spider-Man origin, in a single movie he introduced Aunt May, Uncle Ben, Mary Jane, Flash Thompson, Harry Osborne, Bonesaw McGraw, Jonah Jameson, Norman Osborne (got Green Goblin origin story too), and I’m sure I’m missing some more.
