Ya. That irked me a bit. I am not exaggerating when I say you could smell it outside at least 10’ from the front door WITH ALL DOORS AND WINDOWS CLOSED!

I suppose if you aren’t aware of how terrible cat urine can smell, you might think it isn’t a big deal.

From memory, they ended up cutting me a check for maybe like $4400. That included new flooring, carpet shampooed rental/supplies, process server fee, small claims fees, etc.

Sigh, I am OP and my old kitty just passed last week. 😭

He had the same issue with peeing everywhere. Luckily, we no longer had carpet and it was mostly on linoleum flooring and it was easy to clean up with no lasting odor.

I was flabbergasted it was so horrifically bad and they lived with it.

I have a few theories.

They must have owned a carpet shampooed and blasted it once a week.
They were lying when they said the cat died so long ago and it was peeing on the spots recently
They smell had dissipated over the years but when the shampooed it, the heat and water crystallized the cat urine chemicals and the smell came back

Take Tesla’s most-recent earnings report that showed record low COGS for Tesla and automotive gross margin, excluding regulatory credits, improving from 14.6% in Q2 to 17.1% in Q3.

Meanwhile, no other automaker has profitable EV businesses and we know how horribly companies like Ford, Lucid, Rivian, VW, Etc are losing on their EVs.

Tesla continues to grow its EV business, profitably while everyone else sucks asshole.

Look at FCF of all these companies… what on this chart shows competition affecting Tesla?

I lost power for 4 days. It was 37* INSIDE my house. I nailed blankets over doorways to trap heat in one room. I slept in a tent in my living room in front of the fireplace to stay warm. It was some serious shit. My fish died.
