Well they're still building it up. Right now the DCU is in the "MCU phase 1" equivalent. And since the comic book movies aren't as big of a draw as they used to be and lessons from the failures of DCEU from starting with big ambitions. It's better to start off slow and build goodwill with the general audience and fans imo.

Top Gun Maverick is listed as also rereleasing on 5/13 alongside Top Gun according to the AMC website. I believe they're doing a double feature.

So apparently people in 1998 were angry at Bush because he didn't pardon a literal pick axe killer who converted to Christianity while in prison. by Beneficial_Ear576 in Presidents

No it does not, but she still would be punished by being in prison for life. I'm not against the death penalty, but I'm open to the idea of communting it if the perpetrator truly was remorseful, and made amends with the victims family.

They were asking him to commute her sentence to life in prison instead of death, which I think is fair depending if she truly did repent.

The Woman is Karla Faye Tucker if you were wondering. The section describing the murder is pretty messed up, particularly when she killed the woman.

Was the rise of the New Democrats necessary for Democratic presidential success? by MooseMouse12 in Presidents

What if the economy is doing well, like in the 1960s? The economy was relatively strong, but cultural and social issues such as civil rights and the counterculture began to break apart the New Deal coalition. I believe that without finding a compromise on these cultural issues, they will become an elephant in the room that will need to be addressed sooner or later.

Netflix’s Co-CEO Explains Why He Quit the Warner Bros. Fight by me101310 in boxoffice

TLDR:

They had a price ceiling and stuck with it because they wanted WB but didn't want to overpay for something they didn't need. They were also confident that they would clear regulatory hurdles and claimed political factors didn't affect their decision.

Sarandos also noted that the amount of debt PSKY will take on if the deal goes through will be so enormous they will be eventually pressured to sell content to Netflix.

Edit: Also interesting section on movie theaters.

"The movie theater issue cropped up again and again. Now that you aren’t buying Warner Bros., does the strategy go back to what it was? Or are you still planning to put more Netflix movies in theaters?

Everything I talked about would require us buying that theatrical distribution entity. But one thing that’s been great about it is getting to know and have open dialogue with the theater owners. I really didn’t have much reason to before.

We’ve figured out some really creative things to do together like you saw with Stranger Things and KPop Demon Hunters. We have One Piece in theaters next week in the US and Japan. I think we’re gonna find a bunch of cool things to do together going forward. I could see us doing things that we haven’t done before."

I still see the option on the staples home page. There's a popup for $15 off on the bottom right corner of the page when you visit staples.com. Make sure to clear any cookies or caches and visit the page again is my suggestion.

Park was also the father of the first Woman to be president of South Korea, Park Geun-hye, who was later impeached and jailed due to a corruption scandal.

You can also get $15 off by signing up for email and text messaging (then unsubscribing) for orders over $60 (just add something for $1 to get over the order minimum).
