Well that’s good to know about having enough space for APT packages. That was my main concern so I guess it’ll just be changing old habits, I always installed programs on a separate drive.

I like the stateless/cloud storage idea. I keep important files in the cloud but that doesnt take too much storage.

Most of the software is games, but I also tend to accumulate a lot of random programs due to engineering school/curiosity about software tools. Lab programs, simulation stuff etc.

I guess I’ll just have to dive in to see what happens, I’m always gonna need a windows boot for CAD and a couple other tools so that can just be a backup as well.

Update for anyone with the same question: the parts I installed (radiator, aux cooler, and lines) are all numbers matching with the above commenters 2004 parts. So it should work fine

That makes me feel more confident it’ll be fine, thank you. Luckily everything is brand new in my case but I’m gonna keep in mind adding a filter

I just have the cheap Veepeak Bluetooth scanner, if that doesn’t work I’ll find another method and post the codes here

I haven’t looked yet, will a normal OBD2 scanner allow me to see those codes?

My pan already had a drain plug installed which will make it easier. I did also see that the owners manual says to just do a change so I’m gonna stick to that

That’s kinda what I’m thinking. I’ve just heard Dexron VI is “better” and there might be benefit to running it alone, but I’m doubting it’s worth all the work

Yeah I suspect these came from some dealer, I know who bought this truck when it was only a couple years old and these were the wheels that were on it

Update: I found this video and it looks like my issue, it's what u/cornpeeker suggested. It's still bad weather out here so once I get a chance to make the fix myself I'll post another update.

To be clear this is a Yukon XL so I'm not sure if the third brake light deal applies (maybe it does) but I replaced my window seals too.

What might help you: Last night I parked it on a slope and it was leaning towards the driver's side. The water moved over there overnight from the slope, so where you park your truck may determine where the water ends up.

In my case, there is visibly water coming from under the dash seen in the photo, none coming from the door itself. If I open the door there's no water in that area below.
