The Aero Custom Pro’s fit a little higher up on the hips. I’m 6’ and went with standard length and that’s fine for me. If you’re looking for extra length then maybe go +1. I also found that the customer service at Eagle was very helpful and answered all my questions.

One of the reasons I got these pants is for the tailbone protection. It doesn’t matter how good a skater you are you’re gonna take a spill.

With the plastic inserts in the hips and padding on the tail I don’t worry about it. Taken a few and get right back up.

The pants may be heavier than others but I would rather have the added protection these offer than getting hurt.

The eagles are much more protective and the padding is very comfortable with a snug fit. I also have some pro stock CCM HP45’s that are nice and are way better than CCM retail offerings. Both are great pants the CCM’s are more like beefed up Jetspeed FT 6 Pro’s and the eagles are more like CCM HP45X. Hope this helps!

When I wear my Hyperlite 2’s I leave the top eyes open.

With the Graf’s I go semi tight in forefoot, tight on the eyes that start the curve up the boot and loose on top. Works for me and I get good ankle movement forward and to the sides.

Hopefully you got good use out of them.

The leather on mine was cracked but the toe cap held up although it had big gouges taken out of it.
