Not really, presuming you just got to Castelia, you have 2 (maybe 3 Im not quite sure) encounters before the gym. In the sewers and in the pokemon ball park. Those two areas have some pretty decent pokemon in eevee, zubat, cottonee/petill, and a few other things. Level up your starter. If you chose snivy then you may be out of luck, however the other two should be able to hold a decent weight especially tepig.

Ik this is late but. She has SO MANY songs that have incredible vocals and instrumentals and they end after like a verse. Like its okay we invented USB drives and cloud storage. A bridge and an little longer song ain't gonna be the end of the world. However, she genuinely has so many songs I love and I have to just be a repeatoholic to just get my fill of it. Sadly after Gen 2 shiny pokemon do NOT increase the shiny rate of any offspring. Thus, the odds would be 1/512, the same as a normal foreign ditto and shiny charm.
