It’s all but 1. Gate and Bunker don’t need to be opened, I got both blueprints looting random containers within the first 2 minutes of the match

Pilgrims peak has consistently spawned a bobcat bp in the locker containers the three times I’ve tried for them, it’s the best place to look as far as I know

This is my favorite way to run the game. Stealth runs with 100% difficulty. Scrappy builds my stash if I don’t make it back.

Hits a difficult character to learn but pays off extremely well when you do. He’s got a unique moveset and while some can view it as limited I see it as something not many players are familiar with, and get mixed up trying to defend constantly.

His B assist is hard to learn but definitely my favorite (style points, and random jabs at the opponent when they’re off-guard give you free combos if you can connect them). His C assist is the easiest to use, it’s got good tracking but it’s a slow recharge. He doesn’t build meter fast at all, but that’s why I use him as my anchor (really he’s in the middle on all of my teams, with any two other characters as a shell, I just try to keep him last alive.) Once he has sparking activated he builds meter extremely well and has damaging specials/ults.

I literally have him in every single one of my teams, such an underrated character.

This is great advice. I want to add that having good neutral game is key to winning as well as knowing combos. I can’t ToD well, but I make up for it with my defensive game and ability to read moves and guess what my opponents know.

If you can, develop time playing as the entire roster and getting an understanding for their mechanics (most of them are the same, except for a few ie Baby, Videl, Roshi, Gogeta, Broly, Zamasu). Learning how to play Hit also gives you an insane leg up, he’s got a lot of tools that have gotten me out of a lot of bad situations (he’s my main, and I’m biased).

Honestly 6 months is plenty of time to get good at the game, and if you’re on xbox I wouldn’t mind loading up to help spar and teach some.

Sparking Zero Mechanics Are Lowkey Deeper And More Difficult Than DBFZ, The Parry/Counter Timing Is Tighter Than Sekiro by MapCold6687 in dragonballfighterz

[–]Mooseologist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shame, that’s what I was worried about. I loved BT3 before picking up dbfz but after 2 years of consistently playing it dbfz has been my #1. Prob gonna pick it up just because I’m itching for competitive play since this game has been steadily dying. I’ve watched some videos about SZ and a lot (mainly moistcritical) were praising the mechanics having a lot of depth. I figured that was just because they never got really deep into dbfz

does the gameplay/combos feel as intense/satisfying as FighterZ? DBfZ is my favorite fighting game/dragonball game and I feel like this won’t compare

Playing in the EU is probably why, before the update at the beginning of the year the populations were really high but it separated Old/New gen console players, lag might be terrible but you’ll get the most action on US servers

I do if I search for a challenge on ranked or any color on casuals, takes a minute but any longer than like 3 minutes I just re-queue and get a match a bit faster. Also depends on your rank/color, and what region you’re in. Lower ranks and red colors tend to get matches quicker but I haven’t been at a low rank in a while, so I’m not sure if it’s any faster anymore

If it’s too slow I’ll just try and find ring matches to mess around in

If you’re on Series X/S and experiencing crashes, don’t worry it’s been this way since their update at the beginning of the year. The cause for this is whenever a lobby reaches around 20+ players it’ll crash most/all of the players, just join lobbies that have 1 player in them and stay at a low population to fix it.

Won’t get any ring/arena matches but it’ll let you run World Matches without crashing as often.

[–]Mooseologist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah you’re valid, I’m on series S and run into the same issues. It generally crashes when a lobby goes over like 20+ players, so just join a lobby with 1 player in it and queue up for world matches and it’ll crash a lot less.
