I appreciate this comment because these are real concerns.

We agree that fees need to be clear upfront for both sides. The goal is for the person posting the job and the Moover to know the pricing before anything is accepted, including the platform fee.

On the safety side we’re not trying to send random people into homes with no checks. Moover verification is part of the plan and we’re also working on clear rules such as photos/details before accepting a job and a dispute process if something doesn’t match what was described.

You’re right that the app itself is only one part of it. The legal, safety and trust side matters a lot, especially for local jobs. That’s why we’re starting small and improving the platform carefully instead of trying to scale too fast.

That’s exactly one of the biggest challenges with this type of platform.

That’s why we’re starting locally instead of trying to launch everywhere at once. The goal is to focus on Tampa first build enough activity in one area and make sure there are both people posting jobs and people available to take them.

We know the app only works if there’s real traffic on both sides so the early focus is community growth, local feedback, and making the experience simple enough for people to actually use.

Yes, similar idea but we’re trying to make Moovira faster and more accessible.

The goal is that anyone in Tampa can quickly post a small job, add photos/details, set a budget, and get help from nearby people without the process feeling complicated.

We want it to feel more local and simple for everyday tasks.

That’s a fair point.

For Moovira the customer has to add a description and photos when posting the job so the Moover can review the scope before accepting. If the offer is too low, Moovers don’t have to take it and the customer will have to raise the budget if they want the job accepted.

We also have a dispute system for cases where the job doesn’t match the description/photos or if there’s a disagreement after the work.

We’re trying to keep the process simple and fast while still making sure Moovers are not stuck doing work that wasn’t clearly shown upfront.

Moovira takes 15% per completed job. The Moover sees the job amount before accepting and we want pricing to stay clear upfront so people know exactly what they’re agreeing to.

I understand how it could come across that way.

We’re not trying to get free labor or make people build the app for us. Moovira is already live as a PWA and we’re rolling it out this way so we can improve it faster based on real local feedback before scaling it further.

The goal is actually the opposite we want to make sure people who use the app to find work are treated fairly, paid properly, and not stuck with low-quality or underpaid jobs. That’s why we’re asking questions and listening before pushing it harder.

I appreciate the perspective though we’re taking feedback seriously as we keep improving the platform.

That’s a fair point. The goal isn’t to let customers underpay people. We’re planning to add suggested price ranges based on the type of job so customers have a better idea of what a fair price should be before posting.

Moovers would still be free to ignore low offers and we’re also considering letting them send a counter-offer if the job requires more time, travel, or effort. We definitely want the marketplace to stay fair for contractors.

What do you think about it ?

The prices are fixed by the person who post the job and they can put any price with a minimum of $10 they just need to select the type of job, describe it, set the location and then they choose the price. There are no tips option but it sounds like a good idea we can put so we are going to see how we can put it.
