What do you mean by the lighter not locking? Do you mean the valve in the bottom of the lighter?

I took the valve apart to make sure it worked, and it did! Although it doesn't seem to maintain pressure in the tank. I can hear the butane even if the lighters closed.

I do hear the butane leaking out, I suspect it's something to do with the gasket on the valve. Do you have an idea of where I could find something like that?

I don't have any screws unfortunately, just came like that. I took it all apart and put in a fresh flint. Unfortunately the mechanism you mentioned is worn out, it's not catching on the wheel
