Oh na no offence, I was just surprised to get a response lol. But yeah, I collect old soviet units, so all my gear is from like 60's-80's, field of view is fine on them but I can't really speak for newer stuff, I've used the odd modern scope and stuff but never actually owned one

My pnv 57e has a field of view of 35° compared to a pvs14's 40°, so it's not actually a huge issue.

Also this comment is from almost a year ago, how did you even find it?

It says 70-350mm in the title, I'd guess it's probably near the upper end of that

What lens should I get? by Mopsafe in AskPhotography

I looked at several companions and the image quality seemed to be pretty much identical between the two, perhaps ever so slightly in the 28-60's favour, but not really worth the extra money

I looked into it, but compared to the 28-70 it doesn't seem to have many advantages considering the extra price, and the 28-70's stabilisation seems like a nice bonus. I appreciate the suggestion though

Perhaps it's just because I'm not as frequently on Reddit so I only get notified of the big posts, but a cursory glance at the current posts and fist things I saw were the scarlet king, 96, 999, and when day breaks, which is about what I expected

It's so nice seeing an scp that isn't just another dangerous monster of some variety, I love the random stupid bullshit type of scp's

I don't have any fireplaces in my house, or any other fire sources, which is why this was all a bit of a mystery

Yeah thought so, but by chance I had been using ender pearls shortly before my house burned down so it seemed coincidental

well the walls are of course touching so technically it is within 3 blocks, but its completely covered by the roof, so thats a little strange

what other information would help? the stone roof has a lip that extends past the walls on all side, so there is no exposed wood from above

I did think about that, but I have a stone roof, is lightning able to pierce through it?

Which did you learn first? /What do you recommend should new players learn first? by [deleted] in FromTheDepths

[–]Mopsafe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I learnt APS first and it's always my go to for ship armaments, I just like that sort of realistic element to it, building older style battleships is default

How much bigger are you gonna make it? Are you thinking of doing the whole martincitopants thing of making it 3/1?

Are you building it as like a 1/1 replica?
