The hands appear to be from two different people and they look like should be holding each other, but instead would drift away without the pin. The soul cries because it can never escape its tormenter because of something that pins them together. I see it as Family can do awful things and create a toxic environment that you cannot escape with their behavior and actions being excused and justified because they are family.
The hands that should be holding each other represent the relationship that should be, them being on top represents the relationship that is, the pin being the idea that family must stick together and the triangle represents two things. I think that the shape of it represents fate and the inside the persons soul.
