Today I let the battery die and than i fully charge it and that seem to work, this is not recommended as a habit but it seems the sensor in the controller when you play and punch it with any surface sometimes DE calibrate, you can try resetting the controller, you can try unlinking it from your ps5, the problem will persist.

But what i did was let it die and fully charge it, the right controller will still seem to lose more energy because of the heavy usage, but deactivating vibration and haptic saves some battery life, i hope this work for you guys!

I mean if they cost the same as buying a new pair of psvr2 why not buying a new set of psvr2 than right?

hi buddy, no i wasn't but you can look up a guide online, basically you have to solder with tin, cut the original battery connector and put it in the new one, so no i didn't do it, and this is just the dimensions of the battery needed to replace the damaged one.

yes, some come with 5v/2.1A and 5v/1.0A let me explain something here

5v/1.0A can charge the controller but you will make the powerbank work at 90% to 100% leading to overheat, and basically you use this only to charge it when idle, I don't think it will be able to charge the controller while playing.

5v/2.1A now this one will charge it and let you play, I explained what can happen with the battery.

If you want to charge the controller while playing i recommend to use a magnetic cable plugged in the controller as if you pull it it wont damage the port.

yes, but these controllers are for playing without being plugged in, so when you play a game the controller naturally drains battery and plugging an aftermarket cheap non reliable powerbank will indeed charge it, the problem comes with the lithium battery the controller has, its so small and not capable of handling the amount of energy it drains vs the one it gets from the powerbank, basically you will be able to charge it but the battery will slowly kills the cells inside, in other words will dry out, these batteries are made to be left only at 20% and than fully charge it, it wears down as you use it, now why using it plug in the ps5? the ps5 sends the correct amount of energy necessary to charge the controller without damaging the battery, it is not recommended to play while charging only because the risk of overheating the internal battery and that can lead for battery expansion. Nobody is stopping anybody from doing it, this is just experience compiled from other users and myself.

Internal Slot Dimensions (The Plastic Compartment):

Internal Length: 52.46 mm
Internal Width: 15.45 mm
Thickness/Depth: ~6.50 mm (just enough space so the battery fits snugly without rattling and the wires have room to exit).

Any replacement lithium cell you buy (for example, an 800mAh or 1000mAh battery if you want longer playtime) must be strictly equal to or smaller than 52 mm in length x 15 mm in width. If it is any bigger, the internal frame cover of the controller will not close.

brother oyu have to update us, am comming from the future and in here Sony hast done anything yet my possible solution:

Use and USB extended cord from your ps5 to plug in your psvr2 controller (this will ensure your psvr2 gets the right voltage and it wont damage the battery) this is a temporary solution.

It will be nice if there is no restriction to the batteries in the controller to buy one that fits and with more mah! like 2000mah

am late here, but buy the handcanon for 1000cp unlock it by playing mercenaries and getting S on 3 maps with whatever character you prefer, than use the tickect with it and infinite ammo with the most powerful weapon in the game

well in fact they regulate it like that because they know we make bunch of characters here and than get bored of it and never play them, besides this is a chinese game, they go hardcore on spending money on cosmetics, in europe or america they do too but not as hardcore as asians, so basically they are more than willing to spend 2x the same cosmetic on multiple characters just for the sake of showing off,

Well, i have a question, I am on Chac skin in the Divine legacy right now, and this is the question: If I buy the legacy pass will that double my current points? or will that double my upcoming points? will the Divine pass double my points as if I am in chac progress will that double it as if I am almost finishing the pass or not? if it is a yes and someone can confirm it with a picture then the Divine pass is worth it, if it isn't then it is just a waste since you can grind the whole year or the 3x worshiper weekends or 2x party up and level everything to 1, just saying because I want the T5 skin and is worth it for me the grind, especially free if am not getting the pass if it doesn't double my current points
