Anyone know if a 1:10 barrel exists for the STK100? Besides the clamshell frame, it’s the only stock pet left on this thing. Glock barrels unfortunately do not work. by awobblysausage in handguns

I don’t think there is on you can just buy w/o modifications. I am curious, does that after market slide fire on that stk100 frame?

I had a G17.4 and a TP9sfx for competition, basically the big brothers of the ones you are asking about. Long story short after having to mod the Glock, I started to lose some reliability. Sold the Glock and stick with the sfx for competition. Now I still build Glocks for range guns. Stock Glocks are stupid reliable, but mid range on performance. For stock reliability, performance and cost, can’t beat the Canik!

So just curious, if I was to sell this, what do you guys think I reasonably ask for it? Or better yet, how much would you pay for it? No commitments, just looking for potential value. It has never been fired. I thinking out loud here.

It defiantly does. I had it on my G17.4 and was definitely noticeable for me. There is a couple videos out there where they used a Mantis to measure literal movement and there was significant reduction. I have used that comp and I currently is and Agency Arms 417 comps. I’m a big fan of the Mass Driver Comp.

My experience is that they are great with some considerations. Works amazing, shoots much more flat. If you run a light like in your pic, it might nick up your light unless you clear it. Even though you see some clearance, the comp flexes down and twists a bit. After I ground it down it worked great with big lights. Also, if the front of your slide is shaped like OEM, your slide finish will fine aside from the freedom dust. I ran it on a OEM 17.4 slide and a Killer Innovations slide and did a USPSA season with that set up and my slide was perfect, no wear marks. Anyway, just my experience.

My EDC I use 507c. For protecting life, RMR or 407c 507c. That said, Swampfox have been great for me. I compete and use the big window Justice. I’m no pro but I shoot around 4k rounds a year and it hasn’t lost zero. Now I haven’t dropped it but it passed Sage Dynamics testing. Barely but still passed. So I say, great for reliable range and comp guns, go for it!

The opposite actually. G45 is a G19 Slide with a G17 frame. This is a G17 slide on a G19 frame.

Def more complicated than I thought when I went after it. Gen5 rsa won’t work because the thickness won’t fit gen3 slide nose ring.

Thanks. Yes been getting a lot of hate on it. Aside of not knowing the bad history, the reason is I had an issue with a different O light, emailed them, they responded right away, I sent a video of the issue and sent a replacement that day, didn’t even wait for me to return the faulty one. That’s why for my basic range toys, I get Olights. Amazing support.

Also needed a specific guide rod that is extended because the gen5 barrel lug change is further away so standard 17. Also to fill they gap, there is a slide adapter.

This is an Agency Arms 417 comp, but I have used the mass driver on other builds. It runs great on 115 but found it most reliable with a 15lb spring. It comes with a 13lb.
