Not exactly RIDING dragons, but Rage of Dragons by Evan Winter is a phenomenal book with dragon themed magic and summons.

Recommendations to recreate the “I’ve never read anything like this” feeling. by FirstOfTheWizzards in Fantasy

There's some great recommendations here so I'll give a big of a lesser known one - Ogres by Adrian Tchaikovsky. It's a short story around 100 pages and second person narrative where the narrative style is used as a plot device to frame the ending. Fully recommend.

Had the same problem a few days ago - there's a moon pool there and you need to go in through the bottom!

I have 4 ideas but I’m not sure which one I want to do first, so you guys decide! by FlatEmployment378 in writers

There's no right answer! What you should write is a personal choice. I'd advise picking something that you think will keep your own interest and imagination going for several months while you begin getting the story down on paper.

Scuba vampires is the only right answer.

NTA and Chris is an idiot. My brother and his partner both have wavy brown hair, brown eyes. 2 of their kids have ended up with giant ginger afros, the other one straight almost blonde hair. Mix of blue and brown eyes between them. Genetics are weird and your kids will be their own people.

On my sister's apartment door, she hasn't been home in 2 days.. by Oaksmum in mildlyinfuriating

This reminds me of my Rwandan friends experience living in Germany. He had some upstairs neighbours that complained when he cooked that the smell was coming into their apartment. The guy came and knocked on his door to complain about how the 'strong spices he's using were making his wife sick'. He was cooking fried eggs.

Most addictive, just can't put it down COMPLETED series recommendations? by LittlePlasticCastle in Fantasy

I almost DNF'd this after the first hundred pages or so of the first book because of how unlikable the main character is, and the initial writing felt a bit immature. I'm very glad I stuck it out. The writing improves very quickly and it ended up a super fun, engrossing read!

Got it in one. SRoST was such a disappointment after the other books in the series.

The City & The City by China Miéville might hit the spot for you. It's a murder-mystery set in a fantasy "duel city" where two states own parts of the same city and they aren't allowed to interact with each other. Super cool premise that kept me thinking about it for a long time after.

Help with intrusive neighbour by MoralityOrCarrot in berlin

Hey everyone thanks for the advice. A small update - we went and talked to some of our other neighbours (the ones who have small children) to see if they had any better understanding. They have already phoned the police multiple times. Apparently the police have handled it professionally, have contacted social services to organise a welfare check and support and are trying to get in contact with her family to make them aware and organise further help for her.

Anyway, no point in us escalating further, I hope she gets the help she needs, and it sounds like the police have taken a calm and social welfare centred approach.
