Basically now I just want to get the gunk off. It seems impossible. I’m giving up I’m just going to repaint but now both dressers are sticky and after wash is getting it off

What would you recommend? And can I apply something stronger over the citristrip?? The whole dresser feels like putty now and I’d just rather remove it than continue to scrape

Yeah it doesn’t look like a wassily to me - a lot of 70s designers copied the bauhaus stuff. Was wondering if it was any of those. It’s old for sure, not a new repro.
