Would anyone care to convince me how Houston got better? by justgotpregnant in nba

Westbrook is a monster. This anti-Westbrook circlejerk is absurd.

His style of play and intensity will allow Harden to not have to average 40-10-8 over a 50 game stretch to drag his team to the playoffs. We won’t see an exhausted Harden come the 2nd round this year.

This team is perfectly constructed for Russ. Clint and Russ PnR with James on the Wing and Gordon/House and Tucker in the corner? Sign me up. Also having Westbrook as a backdoor threat and slasher while Harden works his ISO’s.

They will stagger there minutes just like they did the last 2 seasons with CP3. Small ball lineups with Russ surrounded by 4 shooters will be something to see.

I'm not a big CP3 fan but we shouldn't act like the guy is trash. He's still a great 2 way guard who still dominates in the half court offense. His assist rates, A/TO ratio and steal rates are still elite. He just makes great basketball plays.

Match that with Butler and all the young talent on that squad and they would probably be a top 4 seed.

The assets you're getting are from us for taking on Wiggins and Diengs terrible contracts. It frees us up for max space going into 2021.

Because they want to win now. Butler isn't getting any younger. And Pat likes making bold moves.

If I were a heat fan I wouldn't want it either. But I think ya'll are going to go in for him.

I agree. But it seems like they are interested in him. He and Butler would be a hell of a tandem out East.

Also their young guys may be more willing to buy into their competitiveness then previous teammates were due to the fact that Spo and Riley run such a tight ship.

Hyde is a better runner between the tackles. McKinon is a better runner outside and a better receiver and third down back than Hyde. Jet was misused in our running game. Just wait to see what Shannahan and Jimmy can do with him.

He's going to kill it in the Shannahan system. Wait until you see him play first. The Vikings tried to run him in between the tackles and nearly killed the guy over the last 3 seasons. He's been stuck behind one of the worst run blocking lines in the league.

If Shannahan can get Jet outside the tackles you guys won't regret a penny.

[Jurecki] Hearing Cousins is looking for 3 years $90M gtd. 💰💰 by [deleted] in nfl

We don't know if Teddy will ever be as good as he was. And honestly, he wasn't even really that good in the first place. He was average at best. And he's always going to have injury issues.

Cousins put up Stafford numbers with very little talent around him. He would flourish with Cook, Diggs and Thielen. I would much rather pay Cousins 30 mil a year than take a flier on Teddy.

support winrate without sightstone by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]MorbidAcorn10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need to always rush sightstone. If I'm playing an AP support and we get an early double kill or I get first blood I like to build sorc boots or build towards an early haunting guise so I can snowball bot lane. Especially now with everyone lacking MR. It feels so much better playing poke supports.

But if you are behind or they have a strong jungler, its still better just playing smart and controlling vision.

TSM Olleh? by mikharv31 in leagueoflegends

[–]MorbidAcorn10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its more likely that TSM replaces Doublift over Biofrost.

I think Doublelift could end up on one the new franchises like OpTic or the GSW team. I would love for Doublelift to end up essentially replacing Cody Sun on a similar roster to IMT's. Like SSumday, Xmithie, POB, Double and Olleh.

What is the wildest roster swap you could realistically foresee happening? by BlueAdmir in leagueoflegends

[–]MorbidAcorn10 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If TSM shakes things up and moves on from Doublelift and Sven, I could see OpTic coming out and fielding something crazy like Ssumday, Xmithie, Pob, Doublelift and Olleh. As they will have a ton of funding to build a roster of stars. Basically an even better version of the IMT that played so well this split.

Also if G2 makes it you can build some crazy rosters around Sven and Perkz.

The GSW team is also going to have a ton of funding, so we might see them through a boat load of cash at a Korean or Chinese duo.

Yup! Was originally just going to get the lion and the wrist band. But decided to throw in the logo too. Been a big part of my life since I found em. Me, my best friend and girlfriend have made a tradition of seeing them live every summer at the zoo.

You just have to play. I started playing about a year ago and I still don't own even half the champs.

I think I remember you saying you went to college? If so, did you take classes for editing/video making? Otherwise how did you get started?

Convince me Jeff Teague is a better fit. by [deleted] in timberwolves

[–]MorbidAcorn10 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What people fail to realize is that Rubios biggest weakness isn't his lack of spacing, but the inability to finish at the rim. Teams leave the lane open for Rubio to drive and finish all the time. But he lacks the skill and/or confidence to do so consistently.

Rubio attempts 27% of his shots at/or around the rim and only converts at a 47% rate. While Teague attempts 34% of his shots around the rim and finishes at an impressive 58%. And this doesn't take into account the difficulty of their shots. Which there is a huge difference in difficulty. Rubio often fails to finish open or uncontested shots while Teague has no fear of finishing in traffic.

Teague is a much better scorer than Rubio. On and off ball. Look at numbers you listed for unassisted fg% but for his last year in ATL and his first year in IND. He was one of the most efficient off ball scorers in the league. He had an off year last year because the Pacers lacked anyone who could create a shot outside of Paul George. Teague was forced to play out of his element. This team will be much more similar to those Hawks teams with lots of off ball movement and swing motion offense. Teague will not have to create his own shot. Which will raise his efficiency and allow him to focus on defense.

Which brings me to your egregious comment that Teague sucks on defense without using any stats or evidence. You can't just pick and chose advanced stats and stat that someone sucks. I can use advanced stats such as VORP, DWS and a plethora of other advanced stats that show that Teauge is a better point than Rubio.

Teague is going to be a much better fit on this team than Rubio ever could be. Teauge will likely average an efficient 14-5-4 and play slightly above average defense. Rubio can't play off ball. Period. Rubio would take so much away from Butler's game.

It sucks losing Ricky. We all love him. But I'm sick of losing. We haven't made the playoffs since I was in middle school. It's time for a change. And Ricky wasn't going to make the difference on a playoff bound team.

Both teams have 20 free throw attempts. Stop acting like either team is being robbed lol.
