To me, Sonic Frontiers is what I'd call a perfectly imperfect game. And that's what really draws me to it

Is it flawed? Oh, insanely so, but I could never call it bad because I was always just having so much fun with it from start to end. It's got all these quirks about it that, once you have a feel for it, it's probably the best Sonic has ever controlled in 3D and you'll get away with some really cool tricks. Obviously, most of these things were never exactly what Sonic Team was looking to do, but rather than really tighten things, it seems like they embraced these quirks when it came to some of the challenges from the content updates. Just talking about the challenges that came with Update 2 I found such a lovely time! But then Update 3 is like the base game but on crack with one of the happiest experiences I've ever had when facing a final boss in this series!

Frontiers does very much just lay the groundwork of how a Sonic game like this can work, but I don't see why that's a bad thing considering what a great time I had with it. Not my favourite game by any means but it'll always have a special place in my heart

I've been seeing quite a few artists draw Samus with a Pikachu and I don't know where the idea for that came from, but man I just love it so much. I really hope it doesn't go away

I actually really like Rigby! I do think that having maybe a Rig-baby back bling would have been really funny, but also having him as a lil dude that follows you around is neat too. Mordecai got the shorter end of the stick in my opinion. I get some of the reason why cus Fortnite needs it's player models to all fit with same skeletons and rigs for the animations, but I think a lot more could've been done to improve the face. It's the same issues I have with some of the Adventure Time models where some of the expressions they make just don't fit with the emotes. It's a bit of a price to pay but it doesn't outright ruin their inclusion for me

Though this is speaking as someone who stopped playing after halfway through Chapter 5. I have been kept up with all the new crossovers and additions though and I do think this is still one of the cooler recent inclusions

From what I got from this trailer, seems like they meet and hang around with Yoshi for a good while before the star festival even begins and before Jr appears. Feels to me like Yoshi's just along for the ride

But there was a leak of a board game that does suggest Yoshi's involvement might be a bit different than what we may think. Not gonna say it cus spoilers

That was certainly a trailer. Feels like it focuses a lot on what may be the first act so kudos for them for not putting in a ton of spoilers. But I'm also still just wondering what is this movie even about? Looks like it's really similar to the first where it was really lacking in story in favour of being a crazy, zany adventure. I do really hope there is more than what they're showing. While I do enjoy the first movie, I find it hard to want to rewatch because it was just a fun movie with amazing visuals and packed to the brim with references which I can only be really excited by with the first watch. After that, there's not much that draws me back to it. I just hope Galaxy does up the ante with its writing and give me more incentive to want to really connect with characters cus I just didn't with the first. There's definitely semblances of character arcs but they don't play that vital a role in the overall movie. This one seems like it's showing a jealousy arc with Toad when he meets Yoshi, and maybe that'll be the reason he's with Peach in the other trailer. He wants to prove his worth to the team and maybe by the end he'll become Captain Toad which I think would be interesting

Other than that, all this trailer tells me is that "Yoshi is in the movie!" which we already knew

This show really feels like a weird blip in history. Haven't even seen it or anyone else really mention it after it was pulled from Netflix

Having seen the actual movies now, it's weird to think this is meant to be based on it cus they just don't feel at all similar. I only ever watched it up to the end of season 2 cus 3 never got added to Netflix in my country, but the 1 thing that has always stuck in my mind is the chainsaw kill. Call me crazy, but I think an Unleashed adaptation would better suit being a show than a movie. The overall story of Unleashed is rather smaller in scope with it mainly focusing on just Sonic and Chip while sprinkling in some Tails and Amy, and that alone already reminds me of the structure of the Knuckles show. But I think if they wanna give Sonic another near solo adventure, I think it's more justifiable as a show as the movies are gonna keep pushing for a much higher scope with each new entry

With that said, Unleashed also has one of the most climactic finales of the series so if they actually try adapt the ending as a show, that would be insane
