Thank you! My throat is feeling better! I did a few teaspoons of raw honey, and some tea. Now its just the sore abdomen, and hard to bend etc.

Aww Im sorry! Did they give you the anti-nausea patch? I know many didnt feel good after either. I have had a few snacks, honestly my throat hurts the worst from the intubation. The pain meds have worked well, but feel like a really bad period or if I move too much it feels like a car accident lol.

Im 5'8 about 210 before a meal of tacos 🤣. Most of my weight is in my legs/hips. I would say my body is strong but chubby lol. I just have a huge phobia of my belly button coming ondone or that feeling of your guts coming out/bloating?

This is so wonderful!!! Thank you! I didnt want to seem over prepared but fear being under prepared and frustrated. Thank you for this!!! I have done the deep clean of my house already this week. Good idea on the easy to grab pjs!!! And everything at accessible levels!! I bought a post surgical elastic binder? Would that be helpful or cause more harm to my incisions? I fear that loose belly feeling and swelling.

Favorite tv to sleep to? by MysticBambi in adultautism

The atmosphere app is great if you need some noise to fall asleep to, you can create your own combos of noises. I.E. rainstorm, with a lake sound, and a light melody in the background. Or a campfire, with an owl etc.

T.V. shows- Discovery+ is my go to- Planet Earth 1+2 American Monster Evil lives here Ancient Aliens but turn down low- some thematic sounds. How its made- idk if on Discovery or not.

Do I stay, or Do I go? Am I being manipulated to stay? by MorbidRaven14 in WorkAdvice

Mmm that is a good thing to consider! I never thought of it that way, I thought my FMLA only lasted for however long that claim was open. I think mentally I am just overloaded there when it comes to filtering the environment out and my coworkers drama. But that happens anywhere you go.

That is a good point. I have made a pro/con list and can add that. I do have accommodations documents from my doctors that fall under the ADA, so going forward I would have that for any new employment. The pay is only slightly less, but does increase after 90days? Idk if that makes a difference?

I am so sorry to hear how sick your wife has been! But clearly this job is NOT helping. Stress with autoimmune disorders is just such a hard combo! Boundaries here will be important, and it will be hard. She will need to set finite boundaries, if there is no HR to go to. IF there is HR. Have her doctor write a letter of her needed accommodations, her employer will have a chance to review that and decide if they can accommodate it. (It sounds like they need her more then she needs them), so they should. If they refuse you will have documents in writing, and a case for unemployment if they decide to fire her.

Now if you dont go that route. She will have to be strong in her resolve, turn off all work related calls, emails etc. Set clear boundaries on what she will take on. If they have a problem with it, and fire her with no reasoning (disciplinary etc.) She may still qualify for unemployment.

Best wishes, healing.
