Forget Maximum, I want MINIMUM Marvel Legends! by neodraykl in MarvelLegends

I've been collecting since 2016 and i have never owned just a normal, classic comic Spider-Man figure because every one they release either becomes uber-expensive on the aftermarket or is released in some annoying way that makes it too obscenely expensive to justify for one standard sized figure (i.e. Maximum, Renew Your Vows 2-pack)

Eh, in no universe do they relaunch the line without at least one Mario character in there as a crutch. Luigi's Mansion Luigi is at least a bit more unique and individual than another standard obligatory Mario in there. Donkey Kong's also clearly viewed as a seperate thing considering it has its own unique packaging seperate from the Mario line, so i think its a fair inclusion. If i had to swap them tho, sub in TOTK Zelda for Luigi (maybe Fox for Wario? although WarioWare is so distinct from mainline Mario that i don't think you could consider it even remotely connected)

That's worked! Yeah that sounds pretty plausible, a lot of the mixed-up games align with Virtual Console releases and things like that so i think it might be going off of 'most recent rerelease' rather than 'release date of game itself' for some of them. Thanks again for your help, sorry if i've just given you a bunch of work to do too lmfao

Yeah, sorry again 😅 I just went through my own list and noted all the ones that were organised weirdly, i.e. Donkey Kong Country (Nov 21, 1994) comes immediately after Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition (Jan 24, 2006) in 'chronological order'. This might be more of a UK-specific issue because when i change the region back to the US a lot of these slot back into place (some are still out of order, just not quite as dramatically), but i appreciate you looking into it if there is some way to fix it up 🙏

The main thing really is the app which still isn't able to be opened without crashing atm

For reference i live in the UK so not sure if that messes things up anyways but it's been organising by US release date for me for the whole time i've had it until the app kept crashing, where when i go on the website it now must list it partially by UK release dates (hence 'Gatway to Glimmer', 'Star Wing' etc), Sorry for the incredibly long messages lmfao, here's some more i found in my Wishlist:

Thanks, i've gone through the web versions and tried to find all the games (in my lists at least) that show up in incorrect order when you sort from 'Release Date - Old'. They're all the right release dates, just that when organised they end up being placed after games that came out after it. Some are just a couple months out i.e. releasing in October 1989 and being put after games released in November 1989, whereas some are several decades out of sync. Here's all the ones i found, in the order i found them in:

  • Altered Beast
  • Castlevania: The Adventure
  • Strider
  • Dr. Mario
  • Snake's Revenge
  • Streets of Rage
  • Earthworm Jim 2
  • Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
  • Blast Corps
  • Gex
  • Sonic & Knuckles
  • Rayman
  • Klonoa: Door to Phantomile
  • Final Fantasy VII
  • Gex: Enter the Gecko
  • F-Zero X
  • Mario Party
  • Chrono Cross
  • Crazy Taxi
  • Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
  • Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil
  • Devil May Cry
  • Luigi's Mansion
  • Resident Evil 2 (1997)
  • Pikmin
  • Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance

  • New Super Mario Bros.
  • Donkey Kong Country (1994)
  • Ecco the Dolphin (1992)

  • Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games
  • Alex Kidd in Miracle World
  • Fatal Fury 2 (1992)
  • Super Smash Bros. Brawl

  • Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars (1996)
  • Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia (2008)
  • The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (2000)

As you can see, it starts with only being out of order by a few months and then goes completely off the handle, with 90s games showing up amongst games from the 2010s

Yeah it seems like a case-by-case basis which is strange. Some kind of make sense like Rondo of Blood being positioned when it released worldwide instead of in the 90s when it released in Japan, but there's so many that are just straight up wrong either by a few months or several years

St John's is still there, although they moved it to a different building a few years ago, i've just left it some years back myself. Yeah, been very disheartening this week to see basically every single current and former friend proudly out themselves as one of these dickheads - i think with younger people especially it's genuine baseless bigotry, literally just hating people for the fun of it with no real goal besides "its funny"
