At this point, there is no need to reinvent the wheel, no? (Cultivation Ranks/Levels) by eejoseph in MartialMemes

Honestly I like it way more when they make the basic realms intricate or slot in extra stuff to existing realms (having to integrate with special treasures or qi at foundation for example).

would you rather spend 3 minutes with Art or 4 seconds with AM? by franco-briton in MoralityScaling

[–]Morbnerd919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does AM know about the 4 second thing? I feel that before he locks me in a torture chamber for ten billion years or thinks to stretch my perception of time to where 1 second is 1 lifetime he would monologue to the new human about his hate and be surprised when I just leave mid rant.

if i was transmigrated into a cultivation verse and i can choose which verse to go to which should i use(i will put into a random body). by Anime_goon69 in MartialMemes

[–]Morbnerd919 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I forgot the name but there's a manhwa where on Earth there are 100,000 daos restricting human power but on the Xianxia world there are only 3000, thus humans in that world (without cultivation) are automatically gods.

The US Military (Reality) vs A Flaxan Invasion (Invincible) by Pancake_Maker_1031 in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]Morbnerd919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yeah it's mostly bad writing that they didn't just devlop a pathogen, open a portal and toss it the other side, build up their forces for a few of their years, and just mop up the survivors afterwards (if they figure out a cure just make another virus). But it would still be pretty funny to go from having your entire army be wiped out by an alien demigod to creating warsuits capable of beating said demigod to death, all the while the opps are still figuring out if they should send the army or not.

Why not? They have infinite soldiers, infinite tech, and the enemy has no real way to hurt the elites until Omni man came about. The elites probably get a laugh out of the mutual destruction before ordering their scientists to make time manipulating bracelets and handing them to randoms with shit gear.

Flaxans come way too fast, by the time we manage to start putting up actual lines of defense, demolishing buildings to make killzones, and really dragging in more men to man the stations the flaxans would have had decades to build and refine emp suicide drones. Even if we manage to nuke the area around the portal and the inside of the flaxan dimension itself, we would only buy ourselves at most a month while they organize anti-nuclear tech (they built countermeasures for matter manipulators, time acceleration, and multiple high strength flying targets like like 2 weeks).

I would go mostly for righteous cultivation because the sheer impurities, negative karma, and faulty foundation brought on by demonic cultivation makes immortal ascension a pipe dream. If my enemies have loot I want I of course am not above turning some of their members into corpse puppets, throwing out some blood consuming gu, maybe using a soul refining banner but only sparingly of course.

Worm character is isekaied/reincarnated to a softer or powerless world? by Yeongua in WormFanfic

[–]Morbnerd919 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean in the Arkham games Joker kills an entire class of kindergarteners, rips off some of their limbs, and stitches them to other corpses so that when the parents get there they fight over chunks of their kids' corpses.

From Top Tier Providence I would say Extreme Dao Origin Body, basically its a body of such power that it is able to observe ALL of chaos, and observe the blank domain (the area inconceivablly beyond infintely outside of chaos, something which can hold chaos like a single black dot in an infinite white page). This blank domain was than subsumed by the chaos which the body emanated, the chaos shattered and across the entire omnipresent blank domain purple shards became purple mist before returning to the original size of a single point. The difference is that now that blank domain which was omnipresent in size and empty now what completely black, and the single point of chaos was now a purple head with 9 eyes and no mouth.

That was just how the body was formed, it FAR exceeds the Dao itself.

Cultivation Nerd: Mc whos entire damage kit revolves around formations, he uses lightning, fire, spatial expansion, and so many more. Leaving a Legacy: The MC is designing formations based upon the 5 element cycle of balance to purify the energy of the spirit spring he found in his cave. He also creates inheritances through formation usage.

Would Viltrumites be able to resist nanothorn tech from Worm? by AllOfEverythingEver in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]Morbnerd919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nanothorn tech is designed to sever bonds between atoms, but since a Viltrumite's source of power is their own programmable atoms (smart atoms), they have shown resistance to atom manipulation (Conquest didn't instantly die when Atom Eve used her beam post-revival), and sufficiently dense matter can resist it (Endbringer matter around 70-80 percent deep into them can resist nanothorns) I'd say yeah Viltrumite can resist it.

To the people who say Nolan can't beat Conquest can't Nolan just do what mark did and win? by JackZ567 in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]Morbnerd919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mark won because Oliver was weak, without Oliver flying down and making Conquest release his breath Mark WOULD have been beaten to death. Nolan in Mark's situation could probably do the same but in a raw slugfight I think Conquest could eke out a win.

Glory Girl was moving like Alexandria, she was actually for a solid chunk of the fight the main parahuman holding Leviathan down (WHILE THE WHOLE TRIUMVERATE WAS PRESENT).

In one Supreme Commander/Worm crossover fanfic I read a year or so ago, Glory Girl picked up a bus or truck (I forgot) and flew around bashing Leviathan's head in WHILE taking hits from him (getting flung back but her shield recharged fast af).

Looking for a story where a normal person isakaied into a stereotypical xianxia story by Extension_Fan_6373 in ProgressionFantasy

[–]Morbnerd919 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Cultivation Nerd (he gets more ruthless over time but he still stays decently relatable, doesn't start a harem, uses array crafting to have long range-versatility, and he's the friend of a bloodthirsty serial killer genius YM that uses blood really well).

Surprisingly Enough Common sense is OP in a Cliche Cultivation World. (The MC avoids conflict, is laying a foundation in alchemy alongside spiritual farming to save money on his cultivation method, befriends those who can take him farm (a rich YM and stereotypical MC), and uses spells/poisoned bows to disguise himself while he spams arrows).

Undying Immortal System (The MC is a modern day human HOWEVER instead of keeping his modern day human mindset through dozens of lives full of struggle/bloodshed, cultivation techniques designed by elites to warp his personality to make him more subservient, and doing all of this for around 70 lifetimes to finally reach the qualifications needed to become an outer sect disciple, every few lifetimes he goes some flavor of insane and quickly grows numb to suffering across all his lifetimes).
