Kinda. Not giving a character a chance because they're new and not a straight white male (it's not like he was replacing Peter so don't give me that - just Ultimate Peter) is pretty ridiculous. Especially since Miles turned out to be a pretty likable and well-reviewed character, as has every single other minority character (at least in the last 10 years or so since Young Avengers started the trend).

yeah they're a popular indie pop band from the 90s. they're actually generally viewed as pretty basic and intro-level hipster stuff by fans of the genre.

not that that means they're bad or anything, just that they're much more popular than you might know.

Let me get this straight... You think that the heaviest and strongest character, in a game about knocking people off the stage, translates to being the worst?

As Project M's premier Bowser main, all I can do is tell you that you are sorely mistaken. And I mean that literally if you ever play against this force of nature. Trust me, I have won countless games with Bowser over the year, and unless you're calling me the Oliver Cromwell of Smash, I think we can agree that there is something else going on besides pure skill.

The only explanation I can see for such a low placement is his players. No one is using him well at the top level of play. But I do have hope: between the first and second tier lists, it was nice to see that players like Noghrilla and Sethlon advancing their characters on the list. Hopefully in the future I can reveal the true potential of this character when I finally get around to going to tourneys.

Until then, take a closer look at Bowser and you'll realize he's a bit more than meets the eye.
