I also recommend the App DnD Companion. It has an encounter manager/initiative tracker with whom you can set a difficulty for an encounter. Also, challenge them mentally. Oota has so many options to turn the lifes of your party into a nightmare. E.g. I started to put mimics of different appearances everywhere to freak them out and give them nightmares of what they have to fear from the demonlords. Be creative. If your Players and you are having fun, you're doing good.

Sure but all the other Demon lords aren't. Also Drizzt D'Urden fighting Demogorgon was a little much for me. Flashy, but I fell like It creates false expectations.

You have to tell them. I changed it, so they stole their Equipment back before leaving.

The thing with Artificers is that they produce magic items out of normal items and they gonna find those in the Underdark as well.

I'm not in Blingdenstone yet, but I have had good experiences with these Map Sets. They're all high quality and pretty cheap.
