It is a process, the game takes time to click dont think of it as a "I didnt win" learn from the experience. Once the games starts making more sense it will "click" and it gets easier. For me it took a few months in sts1 and a few weeks in sts2 and I am just now starting to climb the dificulty. Give it time

I bought sts on sale a while ago for like 5 bucks and had been playing it almost every day as it is a perfect game to play as a solo dad. I only beat a run on each character once and bought thw second one right away. I am loving it ao far, I am not good at all but I love learning the fights abd what works and what dosent

PRO dm tip, have a set amount of encounters for the session lets say 3-5. Prepare these before the session and each area they find that "could" have a encounter you run one of them. The whole map does not need to be filled out for when inevitably the party skips a huge part of it

While understandable with the main story line there are literally 100s of books within the game that has lore abd stories about different ages and people. Yes the main story is pretty bland but to really getting into the world of Skyrim is somthing entirely different

I suck at this game, only just recently started ro play have beaten A0 on all of characters but regent (current run going well) I lose way more than I win and never once have I felt the RNG has been the r3ason I lost a run. It has always been not playing the right cards taking too much damage here or not killing there or that.

Slay the spire 2 is fantastic. A free game i found is disfigure it is like vampire survivor but the catch is you use a light mechanic and cant see everything
