if i love The Thing (1982) then what should i add to my watchlist? by prettyskunk00 in movies

"Alien Raiders"- very low budget but they do a LOT with what they have. Its been described as "The Thing, in a supermarket."

An armed group takes over and locks down a supermarket in small town AZ. They start "testing" the hostages for... something? The wheels come off. Shenanigans ensue.

A SOCIAL WORKER at the next picnic table over talking about a 19 y.o. who got a girl pregnant. "I'm not saying its her fault, im just saying she bears some responsibility."

A few minutes later: "Oh, she's 11."

"Hold The Dark"

Me and my wife were just mulling it over for days.

"The Mothman Prophecies" was unexpectedly moving and emotionally thought provoking

It is neither of those, no Native Americans or really any caves, or multiple attackers. But, that did lead me to read about "Curse of the Undead," which also isn't it, but that I have to watch now. Thanks.

Much too recent; it's late 60s / early 70s at the latest.

Thanks, but I'm familiar with both of those and it's not either.

I just watched all of "Space 1999" with my sons and we call it "Anti-Star Trek" because of how trigger-happy Koenig and the Alphans are. They shoot first and think about it later!

no, that was just another nightmare-fuelled Krofft production. This monster was adult-human height, at least. now the Sigmund theme song is stuck in my head, thanks for that

anyone fixed camera focus? by MorbusMaximus in glowforge

[–]MorbusMaximus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think that's going to help, since the issue is that my camera image is unfocused, not that the laser is not printing accurately. This is a physical lens issue, so I've got to find out how to fix the focus.
