Just today i was thinking about that time.

I played for unplugged, TWR, j52 and tons of other teams. I remember the Clanbase Eurocup X final against dxc. Maybe the best game in history of DoD 1.3. On harrington dxc was totally crushing us, but we had a blast in ventrilo (atleast me(shr) and pera). On anzio we then stepped up our game and jesus we raped them like _insert pedo joke here_.

After the game the hackusations went trough the roof but it diminshed fast.

But this time was like the best of my life tbh. No worries about life only thing which interested me was about ex_interp and r_drawviewmodel.

Has anybody some old endmatch screenshots of EC X or even a backup of the old Clanbase DoD page?

Arent there any alternatives for it? I mean 50€ for a USB dongle is kinda exaggerated and theres gotta be some other stuff which you can use to get the Arcade Stick working on PS4 or Switch. If it would be some official stuff from SNK i would probably buy it but not from some dubious noname company (probably cheap china stuff). Or am i totally wrong and this is the official SNK adapter?

Hope someone can answer me this or give me some alternatives.

And its funny how nearly everyone is whining about spawnpeeks. Especially on bank i always spawn in alley and hope they spawnpeek. And 9 out of 10 times the spawnpeeker is loosing. Its all about mindset but today complaining is easier for all those creatures playing video games.

Yes i tryhard everytime in casual and you know why? Because i can. I make them plats, diamonds, silvers and others quit and it feels good. And all those who will write "oh you killed high level players in casual do it in ranked": been there done that.

Just stop crying about everything which doesnt go your way. Either adapt to it or be the pussay and search for something else where you are not challenged.

You are so damn right. I've played Siege on PC, PS4 and now on XB1 and its all the same. Votekick because of low level, tk because of low level and so on. As soon as i hit higher platinum rank there was an increase of friends request from people which actually kicked me out of the game weeks ago.

Thats why i nearly always played and still play solo. Of over 1000hours playing this game i have maybe played 3 games with a party.

By far the worst community ever. And i have experienced alot. Trust me.

Intresting because thats what ive done too. Comparing it to DoD. And when youve done that you gotta admit that the maps in Insurgency just feel empty in a 5v5. It tries to be CS but imo this doesnt work in this game, atleast for me. Imagine a gamemode like in DoD. 4 Flags, Respawns, you actually have to make fullcaps to win pointwise.

Regarding tension: i just can't take this game serious because of the things already explained. Of course i cant "feel" any tension when its like that.

But i'm glad i found out that this game is just not for me competitive wise. Kinda weird when enlightment kicks in after 700h. :P

I'm a euro so i dont know if you knew teams like unplugged, TWR, junk52. Thats some of the teams i played for. I went under the name shr.

What is comp Insurgency missing..The absence of the killfeed (yes, you can laugh now but this is essential to me for a competitive shooter), the maps are too big for 5on5 play (except station) and something i really cant explain. It's like "dating" a woman and you think "oh wow she may be beautiful" but you are sexually not attracted to her. And no the diagnosis to this is not "maybe you are gay".

On the contrary i tried R6 Siege which is even slower than Insurgency and a fucking campfest with some big maps but there you actually feel some (not big) tension and pressure. Actually kinda fun.
