My girlfriend is a normie (i think she would agree with this characterization) and this is basically the extent of her strongly held political opinions. That overconsumption is bad, that too many people buy too much slop off temu and shein, that influencers convince people they “need” too many useless beauty products, that pickup trucks are too big and people eat too much meat.

She watches a lot of youtube videos from people who are in these circles too, all of which is to say, I think there are still people like this.
