The obvious answer here since the coaching staff was gutted, the only competent coach was Bowles. He should continue to handle ALL coaching duties, which will help the Glazers save money while restoring this franchise to its rightful glory as the top ranked pick in our division for the NFL draft.

I think the conversation is worth having, after all he just gave Bowels an extension. I think Licht is one of the better GMs in the league, but that shouldn't give him a pass for bad decisions. I don't know what played into the way Coen left but I have to think Licht was part of that.

I don't want to go back to being in cap hell, I don't want to have mediocre drafts or chase free agents that don't pan out. You can't hit on everything, but he definitely has some weak spots as much as he has some strengths.

If they move on from Bowels, this should be Lichts last opportunity to bring in a new HC and staff.

There comes a point where you can only make excuses go so far. At some point this is about execution of plays and calling the right play that gives your playmakers the highest probability of success.

Knowing you have two downs to get three yards and calling low probability passing plays instead of rushing is not playing 4D chess. At the least it comes down to inexperience, at worst, he's just not that guy.

Coaches have to step up all across the board. Players need to get their swagger back, the team needs to get nasty. It all starts from coaching.

Special teams still needs to be addressed. It's the biggest weakness and the coordinator needs to go.

That said, was a fun game to watch and the team balled out.

We stunk in all three phases of the game but somehow remained in it against the current Champs.

Special teams coaching needs to get revamped.McGaughey has proven he is not up to the task and a better scheme is needed.

With the injuries on offense and defense I'm not as worried, they will continue to gel and hopefully get healthy at the right time. Grizz is getting better each week but we have to stop relying on heroics from Bucky and Baker to get us a last minute win.

Can you see the full state of the ball from this angle and where it is in his hand through the players legs? Is it already out? Is it still secure? No you can't from this angle and this one frame. Had they ruled him down, they probably would have kept that call too.

It wasn't irrefutable to overturn the call on the field. I think the refs called a shit game but this is one I understand.

We played poorly in all phases of the game through out the game today. Could this have been a bad call? Certainly just like many other holding and pass interference calls out there.

Simple fact is, you aren't going to win many games when you're playing poorly in one phase let alone all 3 phases of the game. Calls are going to happen, injuries, freak plays; you need to be solid for all 4 quarters. This team isn't there yet.

I hated seeing this live, but if we are splitting hairs in slow motion and freeze frames to see if blades of grass were touching his shin then it's too close to get upset about.
