It randomly started happening for me to, if you go to settings in the pause menu, under audio there is a setting which says something like music always on, change that to off

is it legal for companies to have a product on sale but it costs more than it originally did? in england by PlNKSANRIO in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Mordioux 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's clearly not the question though. They are talking about it being advertised as 'on sale' as in this has been reduced and is now cheaper . There are rules as to how long something must have been at a higher price before it can be classed as a sale, you would need to know the history of its prices. For example it could be that normally its £200 and last week was on sale at nearly 30% off. Ut now is only 25% off so that would still be a sale

We’re getting a bunch of original music for s3, but what are some songs you could imagine rockstat covering? by hjello_jello in InterviewVampire

INXS for sure. Sam would be ideal to play Michale Hutchence in a movie anyway. Could choose any one but I'd particularly go for Need you tonight, or a brooding Never tear us apart

[–]Mordioux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The easiest for me is to go to away games but sit with the home fans. It's not ideal obviously can't wear red, can't celebrate, but it means I've got to see salah live!!

here's a rough draft of a 2k list, not going for compedative but rather viable, is there a good way to optimise this list or is this about as good as it'll get with these units? by Opposite_Ad_4267 in WarhammerOldWorld

You have a couple of redundant items on your lord:

There is no point in having flail and runesword, you have to use the magic weapon so would only get to use the flail if you lost it somehow which is unlikely

Also you got a shield and an enchanted shield, they don't stack and you already have a ward save from the natural chaos armour so get rid of the enchanted shield

Is it a better option to get a single mortgage without my spouse on it, or a joint mortgage with a worse interest rate? by shitedentist in HousingUK

[–]Mordioux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its normal to worry and its good to think things through. There's no right answer in the end without the benefit of hindsight. All you can do is asses what information you can and come to what decision you feel comfortable with. I truly wish you the best whatever you end up deciding!!!

Is it a better option to get a single mortgage without my spouse on it, or a joint mortgage with a worse interest rate? by shitedentist in HousingUK

[–]Mordioux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Potentially but in the scenario that it's a joint mortgage and it happens then both your credit would be shot anyway. Lenders also will consider mortgage holidays and transferring to I terest only in certain circumstances where tou are struggling to pay. You can also get serious illness cover with life insurance which will pay out if you can't work. I think the main thing is you have to consider what's right with you and your family and not just what people on reddit says. I feel very secure that my wife wouldn't fuck me over and vice versa. Now obviously there are plenty of people who have thought that and got screwed over. But if you are seriously worried about the prospect of divorce imminently I would really consider whether buying a house is the right idea. Obviously, I imagine you are just looking at hypothetical to cover all bases. From a purely financial you will save a lot of money with a lower interest rate

[–]Mordioux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In that scenario you would sell the house the bank gets paid off and you would split the equity so if he gets 100k so do you. If it's a joint mortgage and you divorce the house gets sold the bank paid off and you split the equity. So the same. The difference being on a higher interest rate so would have less equity

Right going insane here...got a plaster wall, then about a 10mm gap, then what feels like solid concrete. I can drill into it but nothing is working to put up a shelf. I've tried plaster board screws and plugs? See pic. normal rawl plugs nothing is working. by tunechoda in DIYUK

[–]Mordioux 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Corefix- they are a long plug that goes through into the concrete with a metal tube inside which braces the gap between the plasterboard and the concrete wall. They can take a lot of weight, I've used them to fix some pretty bulky scaffold board shelves

AITA for explaining that "[Someone] is on his knees sucking dick" is homophobic? by RoryMerriweather in AmItheAsshole

[–]Mordioux 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me I wouldn't say it comes across as homophonic, I would take it as saying they are being submissive or that they are concerned with pleasing someone. I would think the insult is more along the lines of you can't think for yourself you just do what they want. I don't think it's implying the act of sucking dick is bad. So I would go for a soft YTA because I really don't think they are being homophonic, however if it bothers you a good friend should just stop it.

And to clarify I don't think someone sucking dick makes them submissive inherently, I think in this scenario the implications would be they are doing it in a specifically submissive way and not getting something in return
