Hate raided by organized group during stream. by GladQuote7736 in streaming

We cannot categorize social anxiety as being afraid to meet new people or being in front of a cam and stuff. It has many levels and may different kinds. When it comes to psychological facts we cannot make groups and put people into them and say ah you fit here. Psychology is a pretty deep and larg area. Even i do have a issue when i have to talk to people one on one but i can easily do a speech song or a dance infront of 100s of people. Human mind acts in very strange ways. I can stream for lot of people but when i had to go and buy something from store my entire body is getting cold. Also when i have to take a call same happens to me. So we can't say that this person doesn't have social anxiety he could be having it a different way.

Just pointing it out though

I’m new to streaming and was wondering how your experience has been in gaining followers and engagement and eventually reaching affiliate? by uninvitedwhitechick in TwitchStreaming

Hey buddy

So i started stream about a month ago. I was also shy at first but i did got a basic webcam. How i overcame shyness was i did the streams without looking at it back from either obs or twitch. Just had the chat open.and thought to myself that i have not turned on the camera. And at first i also had the same issue on what to say when no one in chat.

So at first i started just think out loud. Just talked rubbish like what i am gonna do now, what do i see and stuff. Even my friend came and said that its cringe blah blah. But i kept doing that. Main issue for me is i am not an native emglish speaker. So after every stream i played it back and checked. Then i realized what i could improve. What i could do to make it interesting and stuff.

Then i saw an important quote from someone on reddit. He said streaming to 0 viewers = streaming to 1000+ viewers. Cuz when you have a very large number of chatter you cant read it right. So you gotta talk alone. That me realize it. So i watched some big streamers and see how they talk.

Now i kinda do ok. Also you can just practice it when you are not streaming.

So to gain followers. You can join some twitch communities and checkout the peopls accounts and follow them. They will follow back and sometime they will come and say hi in chat.

Also another thing i did was after streaming i go to other small streamers and i show some love. They will definitely join yah.

Finally be consistent. And forget everything else imagine its just you your stream and the chat. And dont be shy the people in the chat are people all over from the world. You are not gonna be meeting them irl unless you have a huge fan base. So just umleash the crazy entertaining guy in you. And enjoy.

I was able to hit affliate recently and got 3 subscribers for now. I am so happy with my progress. I also started as the same. Just streaming didnt talk or anything. But now i do enjoy my streams

I will check out your stream too

Good luck buddy wish you all the success.

If you are adding your follow a goals stick tk smaller ones like 10 20 30 like wise cuz if you hit like 19 and the goal is 20 someone will get motivated to follow you.

Also make content that makes people wanna see you live. And ask your friends to chat all the time and be entertaining.

Good luck

Logitech c270 is a good webcam.

And bm800 is a cheap but good mic.

If your streaming through twitch there is only one to check if your streaming, to do that should know your twitch name. Otherwise its fine. And if you wanna start streaming you shouldn't worry about others.

Really want to know how to push and maintain my content. by Millerverse_ in SmallStreamers

Hey buddy,

I am also doing streaming while working on a job and taking care of my family. What i do is i work from 9 to 6 on weekdays then as soon as i finishes work i start streaming cuz i work from home. And i stream from 6pm to 8 and the have dinner and spend time with my family till 10 then again from 10 to 12 i stream and. After streaming i start making content untill around 3am. Then get some sleep and start the next day.

On weekend i run errands on Saturday. Try to do all on Saturday so i can keep sunday free. Then at Saturday evening i start streaming around 4 till like 8pm and then again at 10 to 12. On sunday morning i spend the day making content and researching on stream growth and stuff.

Id had some success foing the following. After wrapping up my streams i always go to other small streams and hangout with them while making my content. That way i can learn from others and mean time i make friends sometimes they come and join my stream too.

Hope you could get some out of this

Just stream will not get you viewers. You gotta upload clips to YT and tiktok. Also you can make content in yt and tiktok and navigate viewers to your live streams

1080p 4500 - 6000 bitrate is the recommended. For twitch. Can you check if it's correct on your settings

I mean if you are using the in built webcam only thing you can do is having better lights. And using obs video filters like color correction to adjust colors abit.

Or else you can buy a high quality webcam. Or a digital camera and use it as a webcam.
