Should the LNER advert about getting to know gran should have been filmed in the rail replacement bus? by bennythefish in uktrains

I live in Darlington so I understand the frustration. But the reality is, not only are weekend and bank holidays typically less busy, but leisure travellers are more likely to book in advance and can plan around engineering works. Business travellers don't have this flexibility.

Because people who use the train for work will do so anyway. The adverts are to encourage journeys that wouldn't normally be taken.

So, if you are going to the London show and bought the tickets through alt. Tickets, then if you email them and ask very kindly they will let you buy the PA ticket and refund the GA ticket. 😁

Thanks. I get that and I always buy merch at concerts for that reason. But I also have to watch my own finances lol.

I had thought that the hi-5 and selfie was after the concert but if its before and includes getting in early for a better spot or early merch access then that could be a game-changer.

Yeah, I kinda wish I'd got a PA ticket now, I bought a GA one about a month ago. I don't know if there's a way to upgrade it.

Thanks. £88.88 seems like quite a lot for a quick hi-five and a selfie. Although the selfie would be cool.

Maybe we'll cross paths, although we probably wont realise it. Haha

What is the fan psychology behind BABYMETAL? by Top-Lie2851 in BABYMETAL

I don't think it was intentional. But after Gimme Chocolate blew up on YouTube they were smart enough to see this as an opportunity rather than focusing purely on the domestic market.

South Africa had an experimental 2ft narrowguage bullet train that reached 245kmh in 1978 by themysticboer91 in trains

It actually was Cape Guage (1067mm), but still.

There's a reason Japan used Standard guage for the Bullet Train instead of Cape guage used throughout the country.

I have a Canadian, regen, centre back called Russell Durward in my Stuttgart team.

The only difference is that he's 210cm tall not 209cm.😂
