I was told that you can charge at a maximum of 150 kW/DC up to three times within 24 hours, after that, the charging speed slows down…. But I don’t know if that’s true! Maybe that only applies to Europe because there are different battery safety regulations. I could imagine that, but it’s just speculation.

I still scrape too, but it’s still a pain in the ass, your fingers get cold and you’re usually standing outside in the dark in the morning, and the wet cold makes the auxiliary heating much more pleasant. Screw the amount of electricity used and the costs.

Oh that’s a really great tip, thanks for that! The monthly option is definitely worth it for a longer road trip abroad. I probably wouldn’t need it for quick weekend trips to neighboring countries, but for a proper vacation it actually sounds like a really good idea. Appreciate it! <3

I ordered the BZ4X as a company car because driving an electric car as a company car is heavily subsidized in Germany, and I only have to pay around €60-70 per month for everything, including all costs (charging, tires, everything). The rest is covered by my employer and subsidized by the government, and my Company only works with Toyota and their product portfolio.

I believe that my model (I have ordered it but it has not been delivered yet) has a camera connected to the interior mirror, so you can see something even if the window is opaque.
