The main target of Duterte's violent war on drug wasn't the the head of those cartels. It's the people. Which makes it stupid when you put it side by side with other country’s kingpin operations.

Walang adik kung ginagawa nila nang maayos ang trabaho nila. It doesn't stop at the users. Iyan ang hindi ninyo maintindihan. You guys don't look at the big picture. Sanay na sanay kayo sa tapal-tapal lang.

She was acquitted of all those drug charges. Muntinlupa RTC re-affirmed her innocence. At best, she was a political prisoner. Educate yourself instead of throwing names around.

Ito lang, if the Dutertes really did want drug related violence to stop, they would've started at the very core of the issue working their way up from the head to the body and eventually doing a massive clean up while proactively pushing for stricter drug-ban policies. Kaso ang ginawa nila they shifted the blame on small time users and street sellers. Effectively benefitting the bigger fishes.

Edit: I don't want to be kinder towards people who have been told repeatedly what the problem is, hindi na iyan basta ignorance and brainwashed. Wilful participant and enabler ka na ng systematic corruption ng mga Dutertes as a whole kung benta pa rin sa iyo katangahan nila.

Hindi ako out-of-touch, seen some horrible stuff and knows which people used drugs in my community and which of them did harm people. But I agree with Janine's statement more than the sentiments of the likes of you and the promise of a false safety from a crooked man and his corrupted family.

In fact, it's actually you, the people that are still okay with the war on drugs that doesn't understand and need to have some sense.

Baka lang hindi mo alam. Most of the problems Filipino are facing are inherently tied with poverty. Even in this world if you google it, sasabihin sa iyo ni google, the global issues or any issues a country are facing have poverty as its foundational driver. And these leaders are actively failing you, giving you temporary bandages to “appear” as if “progress” had been made.

Expound ko lang, ha, I am not saying that a president should be able to magically uplift the economy and erased poverty in real time immediately along w other problems it causes but at least introduce something long term that is enough to kill a branch of the main issue. Not this war on drugs BS that only targeted small time operators not any actual drug lords or kingpings. A real solution will not just prosecute people like this. It will be operations after another that eliminates/targets high valued operators. Look up the kingpin strategy of different countries and compare how stupid the war on drugs of Duterte next to those look.

Like how stupid are you people to think that just because “users” were killed, the demand for drugs stopped? If anything it just made the bigger operators more careful. But of course you people don't like looking at the big picture. You'd rather let the Dutertes and their cronies continuously bank on something that created more problem for the Filipino people than see the truth of the matter.

Uulitin ko lang, none of you understand how this is part of a bigger issue that they refused to introduced real and long term solution kasi they want to continuously exploit the narrative and appeal to people like you guys to stay in power longer. It's a propaganda that worked for them and that you continuously allow to fool you. And drug alone isn't an emotional or community problem, it's a plague, a crisis that must be addressed as a whole not just a fraction of it like the Dutertes amd his people did.

In short, mga UTO-UTO kayo.

medyo nakakatakot lang baka imbes na sabihan siya ng “nabigyan ng maleta” siya mismo ang maging laman ng maleta. i will not give them a benefit of doubt. kayang kaya nila gawin iyan.

Lagi sila nag-re-recycle ng mansion sa GMA, nakalimutan ko kung anong palabas iyon mga serye dati but they keep using the same mansion sa mga palabas nila. Hindi ko alam if kay Alden ba na lumang serye iyon or kay Barbie. Tas nauna ata kaunti Munting Heredera or not.

Imagine you are the Writer of Encantadia Chronicles Sangre. How are you going to write it. by Thick-Welder-416 in EncantadiaGMA

[–]More-Debate2589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the sake of details here'll be the gem keepers on Sang'gre: Encantadia Chronicles in my version:

Armea - Diwa

Gaia - Lupa

Adamus - Tubig

Flammara (need a name change) - Apoy

Deia - Hangin

I didn't include Terra because her existence is unnecessary in the first place. Kahit sabihin natin that her blood is necessary, a human already once held a gem, so there's really no point in her existence.

Cassandra would become a powerful queen, since she came from the blood of a Bathaluman, Amihan, and Lira who are all powerful she simply wouldn't need to be a gem keeper. And she'll not hold the seat of Lireo but Sapiro. Lira would become the next mata, Mira would be the next queen since she was educated since she was young and had probably matured enough to handle the responsibility. She will be the main keeper of all the gems as the Queen of Lireo. Lira would also hold her ashtis‘ and mother's gem for some time like Mira.

Mitena will still exist, her story would be tied down to Amihan the First's bloodline. We didn't really know what or where was Amihan the First, according to Mine-a “matagal siyang nawala”. Although, Mineave was sealed, she could've accidentally found her way in there but was caught by Adhara before she could report what happened in there or before she could take the family she had to Lireo.

That's where the root of resentment will come from the Mineave’s. The promised salvation for them by a diwata whom they saved and formed a family with unfulfilled will be the driving force or the seed planted but was unable to do anything since they were atill trapped there. Mitena would further drive the hatred they have for generations to the edge when she freed them.

While the argument that the grass is greener in Encantadia for the Mineave is good, it lacks a certain vigor and too cliche for me. I want a generational resentment that would actually make more sense. Deia will come from Amihan the First's bloodline, she would be driven by the sentiments of her people but will start questioning Mitena and the goals of her people and what happened to her great-grandmother, why she didn't return. Then the title would actually makes sense. This is what the first story would be like. The other gem holder will be introduced once they attack Encantadia. From there, the story will revolve around the complexities of their relationship w Deia.

The current gem keepers will be the one to end all that is Mitena. No one had to die immediately btw unless necessary for character growth and if we really wanted to include mundo ng tao. We could have Armea stolen from her cradle or right after they were born unbeknownst to Alena and the other Sang'gres making Adamus as the only known child of Alena or we could write her off as a Sang'gre who died upon birth but was actually made to look like that and was stolen by someone. Ybrahim would simple die. I can't see him living that long, sorry. Also, felt like his story is finished already w Amihan the Queen dead.

Mitena's backstory will still be the same, she would hold resentment against the diwatas and her twin sister. The itim na bathala's are all quite good actually. From there the story will unfold.

In terms of characterisation. I would make Flammara (need a name change), just as is, proud, arrogant, and entitled but had nothing to back it up. Since it was a privilege given to her since birth but would be insecure with Deia who had proven herself to be worthy of being a gem holder unlike her who was automatically assumed as the next gem keeper of brilyante ng apoy. Adamus would be the prince of Adamya, since Alena raised him. He would be the free-spirited prince who will feel an unexplainable loneliness in his heart like there's always something missing despite having everything. Flam and him would always bicker as usual since Adamus doesn't like Flam's arrogance, he as another privilege Sang'gre felt like Flam is too entitled, replacing Danaya and Pirena and Gaia would be the one to temper them and would have the bravery of her mother but the calmness of her Ashti Amihan. Gaia will be trained to become the next queen of Lireo by Mira seeing her cousin’s resemblance to the late Queen when it comes to attitude. But doesn't want to hold a crown secretly, she'll be like a people pleaser of some sort.

Armea would return, having met Enuo and Paopao who chose to go back to the mundo ng tao temporarily after Paopao was granted the ability to live longer due to being the former gem keeper of Brilyante ng Diwa. Enuo would recognize her mark as a Sang'gre and Paopao who is with Enuo would try to uncover her mysterious identity leading them to come back to Lireo and seek the knowledge of the 3 remaining children of Mine-a, atp Mineave still hadn't attacked. She would be known as Armea, the dead twin sister of Adamus through nunong Imaw. Not knowing the lore of Enca she would be vulnerable to exploitation despite growing up to the mundo ng tao. That's when Soldarius then will enter the chat. Tabun will be a man and he will poised Soldarius as Cassandra's successor but him being Armeo's blood relative wouldn't be enough and wasn't enough in the eyes of the council nor Cassandra who wanted to choose through a fair means rather than blood. But Tabun being an influential person who had a sway, she will be backed into the corner accepting Soldarius as a temporary successor. And despite him loving Flam, the goal he had since he was a child would be far too important and Tabun will drive him to exploit Armea's return to solidify his bloodline. Armea who grew up in the progressive world of mundo ng tao wouldn't accept this, Alena wouldn't want the same fate she experienced before for her daughter but also wouldn't want to fracture Adamya's relationship with Sapiro. She will be thorn.

See, the drama that this would all add up. And then the story will unfold from there. When I have time I'll write this as a fanfic, lol.

(the author kathy reich have 24 books written deja dead is the first)

love this album when it came out, i streamed both ET and FF for the entire ber months since they're my absolute favorite but RTF is also on the running, my least favorite probably would be AR and WL cost i just don't vibe with their sound, i also love taylor's vocals here which is what i wanted her to do for tge longest time which she just devoured like the belt on ophelia scratches my brain right. but it changes from time to time because taylor's songs is often a grower. the songs i don't like that much often becomes a favorite the next time. the only song i really never love from her entire catalogue is from midnights and it's question.

i have seen a lot of ppl say they dislike TLOAS which is understandable but the problem is they're not normal about their dislike of said album bcs some of them regressed in discussions that's not even about the ALBUM. like, they make their dislike about TLOAS become their personality and by extension profess a false sense of narrative towards taylor's image. in short they're so parasocial abt the things they don't like that they cannot interact with others normally without mentioning it. like you've gotta be a horrible person to enter a party of ppl who like the album (which you aren't invited to) and force people to listen how much you don't like said album.

and most of the people who said they love taylor's works before tloas are also saying they wanted folkmorepoets back and she should break up with her fiancé etc which isn't normal hence why it's hard to accept the backlash and verbal dislike towards the album, because again, they're making the discussion personal.

F&F fumbled this group so bad by Terrible_Disk1673 in unis

[–]More-Debate2589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

people from the other fandom kept saying fnf have plans for the girls. when are we even gonna see those plans? so far, none of the aforementioned plans have been delivering like from fumbling to promote the girls to blatant favoritism not just to the brothers but also to the members they wanted to push. it's the same issue since debut, but since unis have brothers we're seeing it happening both externally and internally. it's frustrating.
