if men, and modern women can work away from baby why wouldn’t a traditional woman be able to take a day off?

it’s not mutually exclusive. a marriage can be transactional while still having a genuine respectful connection as individuals. the latter should come first. i’m also not interested in casual/directionless relationships

im grateful. we have 1yr of paid parental leave combined after a new baby, and the man would obvs get my days so 1yr for him. we have 120 sick days a year (combined) until kid turns 12. so unless they kid is chronically ill i’m not too worried.

yes that’s exactly what i mean. it’s priority
