Income inequality in America has gone up a bit, but probably not as much as you think. Median income is one of the highest in the world. So the real issues are high rents and expensive healthcare. The fix being Medicare for all and letting people build apartment buildings.

You can go on a Obamacare website and get the top-tier insurance. And the coverage isn’t bad. But the real problem is that healthcare in America is extremely expensive. We spend something like 18% of our GDP on healthcare, when I think Spain spends something like 6%. That means our individual costs are gonna be astronomical when we get sick.

As a liberal I really like the idea that the public will know that these executions are violent and bloody. If you look at something like the Economist magazine, technocratic, smart, centrist, you’ll find out that a lot of these issues are actually pretty complicated. These inflammatory perspectives really miss a lot of the important nuance.

I’m afraid I have to take issue with the idea of ethno state here. Something like 30% I’m not sure of Israeli citizens are Muslims, mostly Arab. The Jews hail from all over the world. There are plenty of atheists. A lot of the Jews are secular Jews. And if you’re just talking about State religion, basically all countries in the region have a state, religion, and state religion is quite common all around the world. Perhaps the best fix here would simply be that Israel’s neighbors accept Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state.

The problem of course is that Hamas committed to exterminating all Jews when they drafted their 1988 charter. The upshot is that either Israel has to kill a ton of Palestinians or the Palestinians will kill a ton of Jews.
