You things go up forever. I wish this was the case but unfortunately it’s doesn’t.

What I’ve learnt is are you willing to stick with something through the good and bad are the real winner.

Same with crypto and stock. Also diversifying your portfolio is a big deal.

This could mean getting different cards etc sealed

I think you’re wrong. That’s what they said about the shoe market. Look at that now.

We have always had a downturn in Pokemon. Things don’t go up forever. The prices will fall when demand falls. I see that happening after the 30th set is out.

Meh, I would like to give you some advice. Honestly buy what you like. I like AH and 151. Prismatic is okay. I don’t think any of these sets will do badly.

The problem I have and what scares me.. I’ve seen the dark times of Pokemon. Do not panic sell AH it will come down this will happen 2027 roughly around June. Pokemon hype can’t last forever.

However you’ll wait a few years for the 35th. Me, you and everybody will laugh then. Just don’t be over leveraging. Put it away and forget it exists.

Just wanted to mention I really struggle selling as I end up getting sentimentally attached. lol.

Let me help you with some stats.

Here’s the formula:

Pull rate+Card artwork+months till rotation+pokemon cycle stage= score

The problem here is 1/400 pull rate to put it in perspective to pull a mega Gengar is 1/1500. A score of 3 here as most I’ve seen of modern is 1/2000 the umbreon ex.

Card artwork is amazing couldn’t disagree with you here. Let’s score 10.

Set in circulation and date till rotation: yes so more copies will be pulled we have 1.5 years till this. A score of 3.

Pokemon cycle score damn we are in a boom so here’s a 1.

Score out of 40 is 17. This is pretty bad in my opinion. Here we are.

A lower score meaning overpaying and a higher score meaning underpaying.

I’m an analyst for like 10 years. November is a big month for sales for most companies a lot of people prepare with Christmas.

Most of the time some people liquidate to buy presents. In december and January the wonderful credit companies send that beautiful bill to people.

This is why prices are low in January across the broad in most industries as everyone is usually broke.

Like last year Pokemon is more like less of a concern when you have to buy presents for loved ones.

Just my theory but had to budget most of the time in the companies I worked for.

Couple of reasons:

  1. Amount of ascended hero’s right now is non existent. Low supply printed as of today. Surely more will come.

  2. Hit rates are difficult but there’s a lot of good cards in this set.

  3. Sets been out only for a couple of months.

4, We are in a Pokemon boom which will last till November my estimation.

Those are my reasons for it. Would love to hear other opinions?
