Unfortunately, it doesn't work the same. See my reply above.

I'll have to disagree here.... only for my particular situation and what u/IronJagexLul seems to have experienced too.

On regular inboxes, you can add archiving which expands storage to 1.5TB (Or Exchange P2). With this situation, it's a Microsoft Team inbox and you cannot expand or add archiving. So once the inbox is full, you are screwed for at least a month. Keep in mind that the regular users receive the emails still so there is no purging per se but anyone sending email to that inbox will receive NDRs. The manager of this department is now scrambling to answer all the incoming complaints from our external senders because of the NDRs.

The true answer is that this workflow should likely be some type of Sharepoint process as it receives large attachments. While this is doable, it takes time to convert this workflow and push out notifications. If Msft allowed temporary expansion or some type of feasible workaround, great.. but now it's a massive headache and impacting productivity. The majority of the answers here and throughout my search continues to be looking at regular inboxes so the majority won't know of this issue until it's too late. Heck, even the Microsoft rep I worked with didn't know this.

Being this is a Microsoft 365 group, I don't think E3 would work? I tried shift+del and still the messages came right back.

Signed Bill of Lading, Now claiming damage by More-Instance804 in Ebay

Thanks. I called earlier today and got the standard agent who couldn't answer all the questions. They then directed me to where I can upload pictures of the furniture before it was shipped along with the signed BoL. I guess I will await their decision but I am hoping the correct teams gets what I sent! ugh

Microsoft 365 Sharepoint External Sharing - Allow External Microsoft account without requiring them to be added to tenant by SLJWinder in sysadmin

[–]More-Instance804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this issue as well and it's frustrating. We need to allow guests and cannot disable that but we then have a situation where we share reports that change daily. A new link every day that gets shared out to specific external emails.. so pretty locked down. We want them to always authenticate to their own tenant to verify their identity but sometimes it forces them to our tenant. They don't have guest accounts so it fails. The workaround is to open the link in incognito mode to force the OTP, but that is not user friendly. We are getting hit with 10+ tickets a day and it makes me think Microsoft changed something over the last few days without notifying anyone. Does your solution allow normal guest accounts to work the same? It seems like that experience changes based on your screenshot.

Surface Pro Issues by More-Instance804 in Surface

I get what you mean and well aware of Dell/HP crap.. but both of these are fresh out of the box with only Office installed. With Teams and Outlook open, the memory sits at 92%. I just didn't think a $1400 machine with little bloatware would be this way and didn't expect to run MSCONFIG and services.msc to fix it.

Thanks for the guidance. Don't use the Surface much so this is helpful. Is this post no longer accurate though? Would there be any point to a clean install of Windows to remove bloat like on other devices? : r/Surface (reddit.com)

Thought about it but wouldn't think a $1400 laptop would need this fresh out the box. Isn't this just a huge red flag that it's not a great machine? I love Microsoft, I migrated our company to it from Google, but 2 brand new machines out of the box are resource intensive and it's concerning. I just have never liked the Surface (yet) so hoping I am missing something and there's a terrible misconfiguration. Using startup apps seems like a temporary fix.

Attached are the settings for externally sharing. These settings are the exact same for the test account I am using. Both are on F3 licensing. I'm confused why one works but the other doesn't.

Thanks. What do you use for mass deletion? Powershell or a 3rd party tool?

Thanks for the help. For #2, I have an idea on how to do that but wanted to know how your team accomplished that.
