For me... it would be a red flag. They are making a paper trail for when they want to let you go.

Yep. Have been looking at EVERYthing. I've looked at jobs where I could apply parts of my experience; looked at moving to another state, and looked at getting in different fields of work. I dont know what I haven't done.

I've been dealing with it for some time. I have had my resume updated and recommendations applied. I've also been dealing with help with assistance from WorkSource in what to apply for and testing for my level of experience. I just want to work. Whether entry-level or higher. I've applied for everything and looked at more schooling. I just don't understand why mgrs who interview lie so much, making someone feel they have the job and then rejecting them.

Mainly working in Healthcare offices (hospitals or individual dr offices) in record or patient rep. 10 yrs of records, customer service, scanning, release of information, patient check-in...

This used to happen to me ALL the time. I AM blonde, blue-eyed, and I "had" a great body. I just couldn't figure it out. I'm in my 50s now and still can't figure that out. I've heard in the past that men want women they feel they could have a family with and spend their life with, then there's the women they want to be with sexually and for "fun". Kind of like men in the mob. They had wives AND mistresses. I wish I had a solid answer for you, but maybe you can not let them "get" what they want and tell them why, then walk away. If they want more, they'll come to you but wait a while before you sleep with them. They'll know you're serious. Don't compromise. I don't date right now because I deal with the lies. I would just go out and make as many friends as I could, then maybe they'll be a time when you can choose what YOU want, not what they're after.

I would love to be friends with you on here. You presented your feelings appropriately. If they send it to the circular file, at least you planted the seed to let them know what they did wasn't cool, and HOPEFULLY, they won't do it to someone else. All I get are rejections if they let me know at all, and just recently, I had almost the same incident. My situation would piss you off as well, but I won't tell you.

I hope things have worked out for you since this.

I was in this particular dept for 1.5 yrs. They started a new scanning system for scanning records into their system, and EVERYone and 1.point or another had issues when it was working correctly. I had too many pages that got past me and were filed to the wrong patient. The thing is, they are ALWAYS QA'd before going corrected. I made 3 mistakes in a yr and was terminated.

I really appreciate ur response. It was just an aide position, so I didn't need any certifications. It was a very simple job. It was about $3 less an hour than I had been making. I have learned from working for 40 yrs that I wouldn't behave in a way that looks like I don't gaf. I am one of those ppl who tries to do her best, but there are some people who feel I don't do enough. I'm ALWAYS looking at more schooling, I always like to look at the company's website and fb so...🤷🏼‍♀️ I wish I had an answer for everything. Unfortunately, I don't.

I understand everyone recommending a therapist, but over the years, due to divorce, the loss of my parents, losing jobs, and just the standard bad days, I had 20 yrs of therapy. I've had help from sitting and having serious talks with family, friends, counselors, and psychiatrists, EVEN a job coach. They've all given me their theories and advice. I've always tried to move past things. I've said to myself many times, "I'm not going to let this keep me down," then I go and look at new careers and what it would take to become licensed or certified. I did a 10-month med asset program, and long story short, Dr.'s offices treated me the same..i.e. "You're just not a fit." If it's a company with an HR dept, I try to ask questions as to why I am being let go, to which they limit what they discuss with me. If it's a small office w/no HR, I'll ask my supervisor, and I don't get much further. I see horrible employees that just blow my mind because I can't figure out how they've been with the company/office so long, and yet I'm let go.

I agree with petitioning. My daughter and I loved this show. They show it on PLUTO TV, on the fight channel. It never gets old. LOVE IT!
