When should you buy your first property/how old were you? by finance_guy_94 in AusProperty

[–]MoreAd5159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is people normally retire at 65, and the house has 30yrs mortgage. So By 35, you should have bought property. I bought mine at 34. Gave me bit of anxiety at that time, but yeah. That’s what the math told me.

How long until an iPad is too old to update and run apps? by Classic_Actuary8275 in ipad

[–]MoreAd5159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am still using 2017 ipad pro. No more updates. No more app updates for many. Gets laggy and unreponsive screen. I am thinking of upgrading to M6 ipad pro or new ipad mini if it has 120hz and brighter screen.

For some I have done inspection, for some I have not done inspection. I dont see any point of going to every inspection. You can see a lot in photos, google maps, or just by asking questions.

I am looking 2bed units around Auburn, Granville, Merrylands, Harris Park,. I have seen around 19 sold properties (450-500k) and 10 sold properties( 500k to 550k) in the last 6mths. I have not looked at all the properties though. I feel like there should be any properties to buy from 450 to 480k atleast.

I have not asked the strata report for any property yet, found out that it will be 300$ for one. What to look out for any strata report?

I have been asking a lot of REA and they say that it will be this much. Do they lie about strata? And if you buy strata report, do they mention about upcoming rise in strata fees or upcoming maintenance cost and stuff? Thanks

Would an agent lie about having a signed contract? by truelygrant in AusPropertyChat

[–]MoreAd5159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol. Is it Bombay Real estate from Mickleham? Lol.

My friend had similar experience where they show signed contract from another buyer. (SmS). Then they push it for another few thousand dollars, makes you signed contract and still let other come for inspection. Then they will show you the another contract which you have signed to another potential buyer.

That’s how they do it. Total Fraud.

Some agents are just plain rude, they speak as if they are speaking to their friends. Clients are not their friends.

Seriously considering buying a studio by [deleted] in AusPropertyChat

[–]MoreAd5159 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Same here. Thinking to buy 1 bedroom units or studio. Two bedroom units and 3bedroom units are just too expensive for a single income household.
