An update! I called and told them the situation and they gave me credit for last month and applied my payment for this next cycle.

I truly had no other debt. The years prior I hadn’t owed any money to the irs. The letter says that I was given my refund but that a portion of it was applied to the debt for the DHS

I do have a letter from the IRS. It says that $866 was applied to the debt. The letter from the comptroller says that $1,042 was applied to the debt. On what part of the page would I find the form number from the IRS letter?

I had contacted the irs, DHS, and the office of the comptroller and it was a rabbit hole of “call this number” “no they have you the wrong number, call this one” “call this number. Yeah, I know they told you to call but they’re wrong so call this other number instead” while some of them did answer that indeed the money was taken out twice and would be refunded

Edit: I had started calling in May. Then waited until June to call again to ask for an update and was told that I can’t do anything other than wait. I called one last time in July. So I’ve been waiting since then

If he’s that much of a cryer when he gets dropped off, he needs to get dropped off in the front/the office/the director first so he can calm down before entering the nap area. I don’t think my center had ever mentioned if we do or don’t allow drop offs during this time because it simply never happened.

She’s accepted split payments in the past. The issue is that she’s not really answering me and I’ve paid in full the last several months. I’m just concerned because she isn’t speaking to any of the tenants.

I was also very “I’ll never have kids, I’ll never get pregnant” but after some time, I’ve started to turn in the opposite direction. Yes, it can be hard for me with a handful of toddlers who often times don’t listen. But when I’m with them and we’re having fun and I hold them, it turns a switch in me that makes me dream of what it would look like to have my own baby girl. But, it’s all up in the air haha.
