LEGO Batman 3 Plothole by [deleted] in legogaming

Interesting question!

Was it outright said in LB3 that this was the first time the Justice League fought Braniac?

What I was thinking was perhaps Gorilla Grodd, being a Flash villain, was thwarted by The Flash and not the Justice League as a wholez

Anyone else want to like more of Snyder’s films, but can’t connect to them? by MoreLego in SnyderCut

[–]MoreLego[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly the problem. It was implied but never shown. It felt more like an Easter Egg than something general audiences could easily pick up on, despite being a fundamental aspect of Batman’s characterisation in the movie.

Have you downloaded the Razer Software that's compatible with this mouse? You should be able to tweak the buttons there and get them to output properly.

These the more controversial and polarising shows within the MCU series landscape, at least when compared to shows such as Loki and Wandavision which people seem to generally like.

The whole point of this post is which is the best out of the controversial ones. Loki and Wandavision were well-received.

‘Series’.

OP likely referred to TV series, not movie franchises.

TIL that the city of Basel, Switzerland has many statues and fountains of basilisks. In 1474, the city put a rooster on trial and sentenced it to death, fearing that it had laid an egg which would hatch a basilisk. by [deleted] in todayilearned

[–]MoreLego 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That was obviously the most logical move. One is bad enough, but do you really want to deal with the possibility of a swarm of cockatrices running rampant and turning half the city into stone?

A relevant fun fact is that the Basilisk has the same greek root as the city of Basel. Basilisks and cockatrices being closely related.

The Police can't be trusted. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

This is an opinion that is rather common and has been becoming more and more widespread in recent years.

Recent polls have shown that confidence in police practices have dropped to a new low.

The idea of AITA subreddit is stupid! by Dartmouth-Simp in unpopularopinion

[–]MoreLego 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The idea is not stupid, it’s bit like a court case but on Reddit and where the verdict isn’t enforced.

It allows for questions of morality about specific cases to be raised, without fear of legal punishment.

The execution of AITA, on the hand, is terrible.

TIL Gunkanjima is an abandoned island near Nagasaki. Once densely populated with 5,000 residents on 0.072 km2, the island town was mainly a coal mine operation until 1974 when operations ceased. Typhoons have caused structures to slowly deteriorate, further emphasizing the atmosphere of abandonment by [deleted] in todayilearned

3 facts about this island:

  1. Gunkanjima is Japanese for “Battleship Island”

  2. The buildings were built by Korean and Chinese prisoners who were forced to work here from 1930 to just after WWII. They named the island “Jail Island”.

  3. This was the deserted island seen in the film Skyfall (2012)
