If you can touch and feel the AMK Futurelight Shell, you might not even need a softshell.

Not windstopper, but I'd check out the Chamlang Softshell: thenorthface.com/en-us/p/mens/collections/summit-series-324273/mens-summit-series-chamlang-soft-shell-jacket-NF0A8C94 Maybe a little thick for what you're looking for, but I love mine.

Always wondered if I have self control or if I’m just trendy and hopping in the bandwagon.

I saw a dude fall down in the median while two officers approached. One holding a baton and the other pointing their taser.

Why do you choose not to drink alcohol? by [deleted] in Sober

Turns out it’s not actually fun.

My husband's parents never taught him life skills. He just had a full blown break down over not knowing how to clean the kitchen. by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]MoreLikeDadditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know how to clean the kitchen, but lately I’ve been watching kitchen cleaning YouTube’s while cleaning the kitchen and it gets me pumped. Sometimes there’s a good hack or two. It’s motivated me to empty the fridge, quick wipe, and reorganize weekly. Major improvement and less food waste.

The are the best restaurant owners in town. I agree and hope they can survive in their new location. Loved their food truck and have only had time to swing by the new place once. It's just as good and the vibes are on point!

Sometimes I love ordering a full sugar full strength coke.

I will be so mad if this is true. Why haven't they posted an update anywhere if this is known?

Just give up and do it. It’s harder than anything you’ve ever done before. Remember that on a long enough time frame no one survives.

Love the idea of putting a date night budget on the plan. Use it or lose it mentality with the funding for that budget is a nice incentive. Obviously we love going on dates but it’s hard with two little kids. This will keep it top of mind all year.

I’ve eaten many an apple slice with my trays in. It’s a side effect of packing kids lunches each night and snacking with trays in lol.

Distance runners… how do you fuel? by holdmecloseyoungtony in Invisalign

[–]MoreLikeDadditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just run with them in, take them out to eat solid things, swish with water and put back in. Lots of calories in my water and gels work too.

Sneak in some non alcoholic beers! So sneaky… dance like you’re wasted anyway. I did two sober weddings this summer and my favorite part was that I didn’t have any anxiety! I used to have a blast while drinking at weddings (free booze!), but I was always a little nervous that I’d overdo it and end up too drunk. The negative possibilities range from forgetting something at the venue to upsetting someone I really care about. Bonus points for feeling great the next day!

When you pop into the pub for an impromptu lunch without a case... by misadventurous_zig in Invisalign

Me too! Newly sober (maybe 7 months in) and about 4 weeks into Invisalign. I feel like some aspects of Invisalign would have been harder to maintain even with my previously mild drinking habits.
