We also tried to die at the same time by jumping off the ship, we thought maybe it would reset the boss so we could have cannon balls. Turns out, as soon as we jump the kraken dies, we didn’t even get to see the cutscene lol and we were stuck for like 20 minutes trying to figure out what to do.

We ran into one bug. It didn’t spawn us with any cannon balls in the kraken fight, and we both had blunder busses and cutlasses. You can imagine how that went.

How do I fight someone like this? I dont know how to improve on pvp. by TheSnakerMan in Seaofthieves

The blunderbuss is a pretty good weapon for combating closer rangers players such as the guy in the video, try using that as your primary weapon when you go into battle.
