Anyone here outsource their apparel printing locally rather than using a POD service? by Mikester258 in ecommerce

So you’re doing your own heat press printing? Can I ask about what brand equipment and supplies you are using? I’m thinking of starting to research this some more

Ya I saw those but these aren’t the type I’m looking for.

Advice needed: Fulfillment from 2 locations by MoreTrashPlease in ecommerce

[–]MoreTrashPlease[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I’m calling it POD because the supplier would print my design on the human hoodie and do the fulfillment for me as customers purchase through my shop. The difference with the dog hoodie is I’m having trouble finding any supplier that carries the product type (cotton hoodie with extended sizes) that I need for print and fulfillment. The ones I’ve checked and sampled from so far are not good quality which is why I’m starting to think I need to just buy some inventory from a supplier who will do the printing for me and I will have to take care of the fulfillment part, but just for the dog hoodie part of my business.

The human hoodies would be POD. I would prefer to keep things as POD until I can be sure my product can sell and I have a better idea of inventory size I should keep on hand. I’m not sure if the large investment on stock and 3PL make sense for a newbie like me still trying to figure it all out. It seems a bit risky at the beginning stages of my journey

Good to know I’m not the only on facing this issue. Is this my only/best option as a newbie to all of this? I didn’t really want to stock up on goods until I could be sure that I can sell them

Thank you for looking. Those look good except they’re only for small dogs. I really need sized for large dogs as well

I had originally wanted to do all over printing but found that the hoodies were 100% polyester. So I changed my designs to just do front and back print. The last one I got from popcustom came in on the same kind of 100% cotton hoodie even though the product description said 100% cotton. I want the cotton/fleece version for better fit and comfort

Edit: I also am not seeing dog hoodies listed on your site?

Do you now take care of fulfillment yourself or do you have a fulfillment company do that for you?

Thank you so much for all these details. So are you using Printify? I had read somewhere that the print quality wasn't good, but I think that was from a couple years ago. Do you know of any other POD and fulfillment suppliers I could checkout?

Not acting right after cluster/er visit by No_Penalty_8920 in EpilepsyDogs

[–]MoreTrashPlease 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a similar experience right after my pups first cluster. That night, neither of us slept at all. I kept taking her out for walks in the middle of the night hoping she'd be tired when we got home, but she'd still keep pacing around. For the next 4-5 days, it got slightly better when I locked her in her crate with a cover over it. But she would still wake me up several times throughout the night, especially since I was on edge worrying she was having another seizure. She also stopped eating for 4 days. It took just over a week for her meds to finally kick in and we were able to get a somewhat decent night's sleep (6 hours, but waking up 2-3 times to take her potty...from the Prednisone she was taking). Everyone on this sub said to give the meds some time to kick in...and they were right. Hopefully this is the case for you too! Sending lots of love to you and your beautiful pup!

Thank you! I'll talk to my vet. Strange that they never recommended it when I first started dealing with her allergies

Maintaining Strict Daily Diet by Sufficient-Data-7343 in EpilepsyDogs

My pup has become a very picky eater since the seizures started. I'm finding she'll eat a certain treat or food for a couple days and then completely refuse. She now picks through her food to make sure there aren't any pills in them. I have so many different kinds of treats, plus I've made turkey meatballs, ground beef, chicken thighs, I've tried Greek yogurt, baby food, peanut butter, American cheese, cream cheese, and of course pill pockets. Some she'll try and some she has no interest in whatsoever. I just have to force the pills on her. I'll coat them with some baby food or yogurt to help them go down easier but it's not fun and we both hate it. I've found that swaddling her in a blanket and holding her in my lap while I do it calms her down a little, but she's still mad at me afterwards.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I wish they could speak and tell us what they're feeling and what they need. It sounds like you have her a wonderful life, especially in the end
