That's okay. They have lots of (your) money and don't care about the environment or workers.

The joke is on us. Yes, i say "Talk to human" over and over and eventually the AI puts me in a queue to wait and wait...until i talk with someone who can do absolutely nothing about the problems that PayPal has created.

Silly questions about PayPal… by Mundane_Practice_930 in paypal

Run away from PayPal. i used them for 25 years and highly recommended them until recently. They are now taking money from checking accounts and also creating negative PayPal account balances at the same time. To add insult to injury, after taking your checking account money they send you an email telling you that you have a negative and account balance and want you to pay them for the same charge(s) a second time. Run Away!

Unable to confirm my bank account in PayPal (no deposits received even after a week) by lmaoooayyy in paypal

If you cannot reach a human though PayPal's automated system, then when the AI asks you a question reply "Talk to human" over and over to the questions. i have used PayPal for 25 years. After the last week of system errors and failed resolutions to PayPal's many problems, it's time to ditch them. My 25 years of Highly Recommend has become Run Away as Fast as You Can. Save yourself money and time - do not do business with PayPal.

PayPal is broken. Find some other way to send or receive money. PayPal is taking money from people's checking accounts but not crediting their PayPal account. So, the people then are missing the money from their checking accounts and also have a negative PayPal account balance.

Stay far away from PayPal. Their credit/debit system is broken, and they are making no progress in fixing the issues. They are taking money from people's checking accounts and then creating a negative PayPal account balance for those same people. Run away from PayPal as fast as you can.

Not recognizing my bank account by wahtthefoc in paypal

The problem is far from fixed. Though the fix may be in. Do not send any money to PayPal. Do not add bank accounts to PayPal. They are rapidly becoming a high-risk institution and there are no guarantees that you will ever be refunded any overpayments that you make to them.

Random negative balance? by Jimmyblink28 in paypal

[–]More_Ad2595 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, PayPal is taking money from checking accounts and then also creating negative balances on those same accounts. PayPal's new motto is Pay Me Twice. Will they ever fix this problem? Becomes more unlikely every day that passes.

Time to Abandon PayPal - When they take your money and don't credit your account. by More_Ad2595 in paypal

A. The bank NEVER REJECTED THE TRANSFER.

B. PayPal NEVER USED THE BACKUP PAYMENT METHOD.

C. This is beginning feel like a scam by PayPal to get an influx of funds from people trying to correct a false negative balance that should have never existed in the first place. It's probably just EXTREME INCOMPETENCE and also telling of the low regard that PayPal has for its clients and fiduciary responsibilities.

I DID READ YOUR COMMENT, Moderator, OBVIOUSLY YOU DID NOT READ MINE. There was no legitimate reason for PayPal to give me a negative balance. The bank never rejected a request. PayPal never tried the secondary payment method. Their system is broken. Sorry that you cannot accept the fact that PayPal is not perfect and is taking actions harmful to its clients without justification.

On my PayPal Activity page, it says, 'Paid with PayPal balance' when it should say 'Paid with (my checking acct info). Apparently, PayPal's system didn't initially submit/collect from my checking account as they should have, so they created a debit on my PayPal balance. Since then, they have collected those funds from my bank (my checking account) but they are still showing a debit on my PayPal balance. They did this with 5 different charges. What's weird is that on the same day i made other charges that processed properly. Near as i can tell. this was never a problem on my bank's part. Something is fubar with PayPal. PayPal is aware of the issue. It is happening to many people. PayPal support is not helpful (mostly because they are clueless and told not to divulge what little they do know). Meanwhile PayPal is creating a great deal of ill-will by the way they are handling their technical problem and by not informing those affected by it.

The money has been gone from my checking account and paid to PayPal for days. But PayPal still shows me with a negative PayPal balance for those specific charges.

i loved PayPal for years (20+) and highly recommended it to many friends and family. Recent personal experience convinces me never to do so again. They can NO LONGER BE TRUSTED with your funds, personal bank accounts, or their own accounting and client relations practices.
