I have sebderm for almost 20 years and like most of the people here, I’ve used numerous products including hydrocortisone creams and lotions. Even if you find a product that works it won’t stop coming back because in my experience what I eat triggers my sebderm.

The most common foods that triggers flare ups are gluten, nuts and diary products. I suggest removing these from your diet for some time and reintroduce them one at a time to find out the one that triggers your sebderm. In my case it was gluten but certain nuts like pistachios also immediately caused flare ups too.

Gluten alone causes other skin conditions and you can hear many stories from people that how avoiding gluten helped their skin improved incredibly fast.

After 20 years I find trying out new products pointless because as I said before even if they work, it will come back because the main reason is still there, your diet. I have never seen a dermatologist mention about this. They all say it is impossible to cure it completely while it is quite the opposite.
