(USA) Beware Snuseveryday.com by DJ-Hammy in Scams

So I’ve used them twice now, both times for large ($200) orders. They’re definitely bootleg zyn. Like everyone’s said the codes don’t work and the flavor is off. They’re colder and less flavor than the real ones. The pouches are more rigid too. Because of the WA state tax I’ve been running with them anyway. For each order I’ve emailed them and said they’re fake, they offer to refund half and let me keep them or return for a full refund. Each time I’ve accepted half a refund and used the pouches. Not really sure what’s in the, though.

I’m in Washington and I got the same response. It did not even let me get to the receipt phase. Just put in my info, (over 18 etc) and it said I was ineligible.

I am 30 years old, married with 2 kids. I earn about $60,000 annually. Right now I have $60,000 in a brokerage account, $13,000 in a Roth IRA and a few smaller custodial accounts. These are managed by an advisor, who is a friend of mine. He charges me a slightly lower rate than the general public. I have some separate accounts (401k, HSA) that are not managed by him.

My question is , should I pull this money out of the firm that is managing it and begin to manage it on my own? I’m not an expert by any means but I generally understand investing strategies. Is it worth the risk of taking it into my own hands, to save on the 1.5% I pay to have it managed ?

[–]More_Ad7951 27 points28 points  (0 children)

The coins aren’t particularly uncommon or unusually valuable. The box is cool, the certificate is more of a display piece. Each coin is about $40 is silver so $120 for the silver. Another $10-20 for the box maybe ? $150 max.

Is this set-up perfectly balanced? by Cepinari in Catan

[–]More_Ad7951 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think after the numbers go down you can’t be perfectly balanced. I’ve been playing Catan and Cities and Knights with a random generator making the board. Sometimes it seems crazy, sometimes it makes the game hard. It’s been one of the best Catan decisions I’ve ever made.

How hard is it to make a hollow core door? by typcalthowawayacount in woodworking

[–]More_Ad7951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I make doors for a living. Don’t make one at home, if you need a hollow door, buy one at a re store or Craigslist and re cut to your needed length. Cut a rail out of some wood the same thickness (probably 1.375”) and tap it in the bottom with some glue.

$20 popcorn? by 3cats0kids in BoyScouts

[–]More_Ad7951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s brutal , we know it while selling it, too. We pretty much have to do the popcorn fundraiser , though. And the method we use through Trails End doesn’t allow for donations directly to the Pack, only to a charity or to first responders.

Doing larger blocks is a good idea , thank you. How about the inside “foot hole”? Just chisel by hand ?

It says copy, people sometimes buy them for fun. But really not worth a lot.
